I was reading this book that came out a while ago called Wierd NJ. It is one of the most addicting books I have ever read. It talks all about the Jersey Devil (who's daughter is Duff and Bennett). There are theories in the book about the Blue Hole. It is this weird place it is crystal blue and they say even on the hottest day it is freezing cold. Many people who tried to swim in it didn't make it; if they did survive, they claimed they have felt something trying to drag them down. People have put twine into the lake with a heavy weight didn't run out, it went for more than a mile until the people gave up. Another thing about it is that NOTHING lives around it or even in it.
My favorite story is the Devil's Tree. It was a tree that hung people. They (whoever they are) say that it's warm to the touch. Someone wrote in saying they were with this guy who peed on it and when they were driving to go home, the gas pedal went off on it's own and the car crashed into a tree. Another story says someone took a piece of bark off it, but they trew it out. When the group went to some diner, all of their hands are all black.
When you are driving on Clinton Road in NJ, remember this story and tell it to the person who is in the car with you: There was once this girl who was driving down Clinton Road in her blue 1988 camaro when the car crashed and the girl was killed instantly. If you tell this story to anyone while on the road, you will see the camaro drive past you on the road. I got bored so I just wanted to write this.
