Hate over Love
By Izzy Lee
Sadness and misery,
Are what should be around.
We should all drive love and hope,
Right into the ground.
Valentines are foolish,
They are just not right.
Hate should conquer love,
And darkness over light.
Hate over love,
That is what I said.
Those who don’t believe,
They should all be dead.
We should have darkness,
Conquer light everyday.
To live inside of shadows,
That is what I a pray.
The wind of fury,
how it ought to blow.
Most folk scream and shout,
But I don’t go with the flow.
To see all of that terror,
I welcome it with praise.
All that massive chaos,
I wish for it on all days.
Hate over love,
That is what I said.
Those who don’t believe,
They should all be dead.
Have you seen the ocean,
On its fiercest nights?
Have you seen the waves crash,
And the fearsome tides rise?
Stare upon the looming sea,
And cry out with fright/
There is no one save you now,
To me a beautiful sight.
Hate over love,
That is what I said.
Those who don’t believe,
They should all be dead.
Look into the fire,
Gaze into mighty flames.
It’ll burn you to death,
With love to be the blame.
Valentines are foolish,
They are just not right.
Hate should conquer love,
And darkness over light.
Hate over love,
That is what I said.
Those who don’t believe,
They should all be dead.
