So ever since the Naruto II manga came out a few months back, I've been following the chapter releases very closely. Needless to say, I've been impressed. It's renewed my interest in the series (though the fillers...*Shudder*).

Well, I finally got the chance to watch the premiere of the series (I had to wait on my friend and I to get together, so we could watch it together - a promise), but it was well worth the wait.

The opening...VERY catchy and wonderful video to it (Deidara coming all up to the screen like that...I literally squeeled and grabbed my moniter - VERY rare).

As for the actual show...I love it. X3 heart I didn't so much like how they started with the Sasuke and Sai arc teaser, but in all honesty, it was a good way to start the show out. So I can see why they did it.

Though thank you so much for recasting Deidara's voice actor. When I heard the original, I died. I kept telling myself maybe it's because they didn't know what he looked like (it was pitch black), so now that they've adjusted it... heart I can die happy now. xd Though the original said "Un," the new one says "hm," which still works since they mean the same thing. <3

Though the Akatsuki bell... heart And the Akatsuki background music when Deidara and Sasori were approaching... I want it. heart Seriously.

I liked how they added the whole Konohamaru and Tora thing, it was really...nastologic. <3

All in all, I've got great expectations for Naruto: Shippuden. heart
