I'm here not knowing
Where I'm going or what's happening.

Everything gets more depressing as things go on.
They say it gets better.

It better be soon.
This world is driving me crazy.

What will happen?
When will it end?

It seems like it won't be for a while.
Just let things go.

Listen only to your heart and not your mind.
If only it was so easy to tell which was telling you what.

This broken mirror can't be fixed.
And I wander lost in it.

Lost upon the foggy land of my mind.
Lost within the dead land of my heart.

With each turn, expecting to go higher up and leave this behind.
But you fall deeper into the pit when you take a step.

How do you know which is the path?
They both seem so similar.

It cannot be fixed without sacrifice.
Many things are lost to this.

Locked within oneself.
Not knowing where the next step lands you.

Thinking that should be so.
When you are uncertain.

Knowing it causes you pain.
Not knowing the cure.

How did it happen?
Why must it be like this?

When will the answers reveal themselves?
Will they ever?
