Okay, so! My friend Lori came to study IPM with me today, and after that we talked for HOURS and then I mentioned that we had a graveyard on campus, and she wanted to go see it! So I took her back there, and before we went to the graveyard I wanted to show her the bridge and so I did, and when we went there, we saw bootprints leading into the woods, but not out, and they were really fresh in the

snow so we decided to follow them and see who was in the woods today and where they went and the prints went EVERYWHERE in those woods and it was really cool because there were animal tracks in so many different ways, and we saw these canine tracks that were weird because they were for a small sized dog, but they were on -top- of the snow, like, as if it were on top of a crust of snow, not going t

hrough at all, but the thing was THE SNOW WASN'T CRUSTED YET!!!!! Go figure that one out, hey? So! We continued to follow the boot-prints and it was really spiffy, and we found a laundry basket stuck 30 feet up in a tree nad couldn't figure out how on earth it had gotten there!!!! But there was some sort of a nest or something inside of it. o.0?

Anyway, we followed the tracks out of the woods and into a parking lot that wasn't plowed and saw someone had been doing donoughts in the parkinglot, which we thought was funny, but I wanted to keep following hte tracks. So! We continued and saw a lot of beautiful snow-covered trees, Imean, it was amazing! and I found a dear hair, it was cool. We made snow angels and wrote our first names abov

e where the halo's should go, and looked at shrubs. There was one kind of shrub I couldn't figure out what it was, but from chest hight down all the terminal buds were clipped off, but from shoulder up they were still there, I think Deer were eating them.

We followed the bootprints for a long time and found ourselves near the gravel pit I was talking about before, which was cool, because I knew where I was, and following the bootprints farther, we found that they lead right up to some train tracks!

I kinda wanted to see where the bootprints went, but it was getting dark and *shivers* Grandpa told me a lot when I was younger not to play around train-tracks, so being on the tracks made me all nervouse and stuff, so we decided to make our way back, takeing hte path this time.

On our way back we went to the graveyard, which was cool, and we examined all the awsome trees there (schotch pine and stuff. ^.^) and then we went back to the Ag building iwth twigs we wanted to show Mr. Beard, because we wanted to know what they were! After that we tried to make a snowman out by the pond, but we couldn't get the snow to roll, so we made a snow dog instead. XD
