I knew when I saw the General for the first time, I knew that this wasn't your average test.

I stared at the General for quite some time, the General is a woman of late 20's, super short, light brown hair, and deep, sad, brown eyes. By the look of things, the General looked as if she hadn't slept in weeks. "What's your name?" She asked in a tired voice. "Dark Moon, ma'me!" I called out, like they do in the military. She looked at me with tired eyes, but then looked down at some paper work. "So, your the one who's suppose to take this test, I'm I right?" She looked at me narrowly. I nodded and she looked at her papers again. "Well, Moon, mind if I call you that, for now?" she asked, I shook my head. She slowly smiled "Not much of a talker huh?" I kinda looked ashamed, I open my mouth a little but nothing seems to come out of it. She continued looking at her papers "As I was saying, Moon, I've got some good news and some bad news, which do you want to hear first?". "Bad" I responded, call me crazy, but I like to hear the bad news first, then the good. She looked up at me again and smiled. "Bad news is, you have to help us in this war were in," she looked up at me " have you ever held a weapon before?" I shook my head, I never like holding weapons let alone use them. She smiled and looked down again, "Good news, even at this hard time, I, General Keti, will test you on how you do well in battle." As I heard this, I was shocked, 'Me... in battle?!' I couldn't believe it! General Keti stood up from her chair and walked over to what seems like a locker. It took awhile to gather what she was she was trying to get from the locker. After that, she walked over to me and handed a dark green uniform, a helmet, boots, and a key. "What's all this?" I asked, but she didn't respond my question, instead she ordered the soldier to my quarter and I was out of the office and outside in the night.

When I was showed to my quarters, which is just a small room with a bed and a desk that has a rustic lamp. "You shall start your first training in two days, in the mean time, I don't want you to go running about in our headquarters, you got that, maggot." I noded, and he left with the door slamed, which was loud in a small room. 'What is this guy's deal! What did I do!!' I let that slide out and settled in my new living quarters, for now at least. "I wonder what the fight is about? Oh well, might as well find out tomarrow." I turned out the light and went to bed.
