My Days, My Nights, My Life I'd comment on something I find funny, or just something that caught my attention during the day.

What's the difference?

My friend came back with this story.
She works at a daycare during the day, so she usually has tons of cute story to tell by the end of the afternoon. This time about a new kid name David.
David is an Asian kid - she's not sure which part - and David is huge...
He's 8 months, but he is a lot bigger than the other kid (also name David), an 15-month-old all American boy. domokun
This Asian David can't walk yet. That day he was so cranky because it was his second day at the daycare. He'd been home for 8 months with mommy, and suddenly he had to go to daycare. rolleyes crying So The staff tried to hold him. Apparently, no one can't hold him more than 15 minutes. So they pass David around from one staff to another and from one room to the other.
lol whee
David seemed to enjoy being passed around, and eventually fall asleep.
mrgreen

The conversation goes beyond this funny David.
My friend, which is American, is concern about David being overweight. He seems big, fat (well, maybe mostly baby fat), and my friend was concerned about childhood obesity. Especially when David's mom is a tiny Asian lady. However, the mom doesn't seem to be concern about it, and said she fed David every three hours - or whenever David asks - when they're at home. My friend thinks it's a lot.
Well, I don't know.
Honestly, I'd feed the kid if he asks for it, why not?
I personally don't understand the concern of overweight baby. I think babies need the "overweight" part to grow up. They're just baby....
