Haha... for a while now there has been alot of group debates in my Moral Theology class and most are funny.
Legalizing Prostitution One of them would be legalizing prostitution [which ironically girls were on Pro.. while guys were on the Con and had been unprepared and dumbfounded -_- dumasses... the kinda guys that make guys look bad -_-] Eh... because of the whole unpreparedness... it turned into an all out debate...
Hah, as expected, alot of people went to the Pro side [yep... the world has gone to its bitter end... so many dumbasses around nowadays its not even funny anymore] And... for the Cons, there was only a few... about 7, including myself. Even though we were outnumbered, we kicked serious a**... of course we would, -_- prostitution being legalized is a straight up No in the a**. Besides, its outlawed for a good reason... -.- cause everyone hated it when it was legal in their country, and here in America we like being different. We don't like having to have lazy bastards in other countries where prostitution is legalized to put off their education and work at some whore-house and sit there to get pounded 24/7. We don't want to be forcing our children to work as prostitutes as a quick means of income. We don't want to demean ourselves, Women don't want to be treated as items. Women especially, why else would they be running around asking for equal rights? They don't want to be used as sex-toys or treated as mindless dummies!!! With prostitution legalized as an official job, it will easily be glorified, people will look up to it, and it will one of the many things that will befall society.
But... its sad how alot of people can't realize such possibilities, the world becomes stupider everyday... wake up everyone -_- THINK BEFORE YOU TALK. People should keep that in mind before they bring up such stupid propositions... like legalizing marijuana and s**t like that.

Cloning Other than prostitution, there were other debate topics [though I won't really go into all of them since alot of them are really uninteresting to my view and seem very self-explanitory anyways]. Cloning was a good debate, ^^ by my good friend John who was on Pro team. Talk about slapping the Cons silly... Cons didnt even know what hit them, they were so dumbfounded and close-minded about the topic, all they thought cloning was was creating mass armies of identical humans. Heh, shows how much they were prepared... when Pro team got to the part about using animals as organ banks for human organs, Con was just... out there in Jupiter or something. The interesting thing about this debate was that, it was so much related to the anime "Ghost in a Shell" with the whole animal organ banks and such, which was seen in the anime as pigs being used as organ banks with bar codes branded on them. Though, theres one big issue about cloning... and that thing is privacy, once cloning gets to a point in which it is almost 100% efficient, people can easily get their hands on a cloner and use a single strand of hair or skin cell from a person and create an identical being to the one they had recieved the hair from. Criminals would easily be able to replicate themselves, make up a scene in which they commit suicide or die, and get away forever with a big heist. Other than that, it would open up a door for greater evils such as corrupt doctors who secretly steal or use patients' DNA to clone organs to sell on the blackmarket for easy profits. Though, all in all, Pro team did a good job on their debate, so job well done John, job well done ^^

Legalizing Marijuana Last but not least, there was a debate topic brought up during class about Marijuana being legalized for both medicine and recreational use. Funny thing about it is, it was brought up by two of the high ranking people in the Sophmore class... then again, considering who they were, it wasn't much of a surprise. [A guy who looks like he has Down Syndrome with his bug eyed glasses and a geek who thinks he can hack the world single-handedly with his mind... -.-] Well, obviously these two kids [kids yes, they don't deserve to be called young adults just yet] were on the Pro team, while... to everyones' surprise, the Con team was composed of two of the least likely people to be on the team. The debate went on fine... lots of back-up information and what-not. Until Pro team brought up medical marijuana and a marijuana "candy" pill. Heh, after that Con just began to kick their asses because Pro's back-up information began to contradict itself. Either way you look at it, legalizing Marijuana doesn't help control its distribution... neither will it diminish drug use! Cigarettes are legalized... did it help stop drug use? No. The idea that ID checks at stores that would sell Marijuana if it was legalized is just a bunch of dumb promises. Any sane-person would know that it would only help people gain an easier access to the drug. ID restrictions? What good does that help? Drug dealers who are of 20+ years of age can prance into a 7-11 shop... buy a bunch of Marijuana, skip out over to an alleyway and sell it to addicted minors for 3-times the value. Heh, "We helped the economy." Bullshit. More like, "Thank you for the Poison"
Heh, overall these debates were good... all of the bad topics such as legalizing prostitution and marijuana was put down by the team against them, while most of the good topics were supported well. Either way, in the near future... when we replace the adults and become the future leaders of this world and these debates are brought up as legal ones. I hope that people would be more intelligent about them and think before we end up killing ourselves in stupid choices we decide to make.
Homosexual Marriage Ah.. before I forget, there was an issue about homosexual marriages that was brought up by one of the debates during moral theology class. See, as much as it would benefit those who are high above their heads about "Love" and all that s**t, you have to think about the bad things that could arise. Sure... a homosexual couple can recieve a mutual benefit from it, BUT, it also gives way to new ways of cheating the government and taxes. Think about it, if homosexual marriage is passed... that means that ANY two guys or girls can agree to get married and pay less taxes and recieve welfare benefits. They could marry even if they don't have intimate feelings for each other!!! Just like how a rich guy can be stripped of his wealth by a woman who marries and divorces him the next day to claim his money, two guys or girls can devise a plan in marrying each other to recieve the benefits of the marriage and get away from taxes, recieve benefits, and etc!!! Although there are negative issues to homosexual marriage, I for one am not against it in any way. Go ahead and marry each other, as long as it doesn't affect me or the society in any bad way... If you want your rights, then have them. But respect others in your midst for you're not the only one on this world!

Racism and Inequality Another thing I'd like to say before I close this ranting is about the rappers out there. From being in the AAA club a couple of times, I must say... alot of rappers out there don't even get honored by their own race. Talk about sad. All they do is demean their race, glorifying the negative aspects of their life, glorifying the ghetto and all that s**t they keep trying to "sing" about. I mean, seriously... is it really honorable to go around saying its good to cheat on your wife? That its good to go cheat on girls, rape them, consider them as hoes and use them like toys?? This is no racist remark, and I want you to think before you even comment on this quote I'm about to say: "There are two types of black people out there: Niggers and African-Americans"
This is no laughing matter. Do you think I'm laughing right now? Do you even think I've been laughing the whole time I typed this ranting of mine? No. Now shut up and stop jumping to your damn conclusions and hear, absorb, and THINK before you speak. This quote up there means that, there are some black people out there that DESERVE to be called 'Niggers.' Theyre the ones who demean their own ethnicity, labelling themselves as that, a '******.' While there are others out there that truely DESERVE to be called African-Americans, people. See, its really shameful how alot of people demean their own ethnicity and say theyre helping support it. Talk about hypocrits! I hate especially, those who jump to conclusions quickly, considering everything one says is prejudice. Considering that, if I were to call a Chinese man a 'Chinese man', it would be a racist statement. I mean, c'mon!!! The guy is Chinese!!! Seriously, am I being racist in calling myself Filipino?! Well? Being racist is to demean one's ethnicity! THAT is what racism is.
*Sigh* Another common prejudice out there is sexism. Heh, lets take this to a more relatable level, women's equal rights and treatment. Alright, this is an often used phrase/speech girls use for alot of situations. One of the many things I hate is a girl using the stupid "You're being sexist" quote and talking about women's rights and then later on demeaning the male race. Wow... I thought guys were bad... that was equally awful. To run around ranting about gaining equality for your gender through means of demeaning the other gender isn't a very good way of achieving that equality. Heh, thats like making yourself the one whose being sexist. Hypocracy. To recieve equality, you must demonstrate equality, not the opposite -_-. Seriously, I'm not being sexist here because this issue goes either way. Guys and girls can't seem to figure this out... -_- can't you just propose equality in civil matters rather than trying to diss each other in order to gain equality? Either way, its all in the matter of demonstrating the equality you want to recieve. Don't be a hypocrit.
