Things with Aly and I have gone downhill again. Oh well, we'll be separated in highschool and our friendship probably would fade anyways.
I finally told her, I wonder if she told Casie?
Anyway, yep, I told her I'm an atheist.
I don't want to hide it anymore.
She's always talking about her religion, and I guess I thought it's time I tell her mine.
About the title- amendment 1 indicates freedom of speech, freedom of petition, freedom of assembly, freedom of press, and freedom of religion.
But we don't really have religious freedom, do we?
Not when someone isn't your friend anymore because you don't share a religious belief.
Like Aly, who I suspect hates me now because I don't believe in God.
I might lose quite a few friends because of this.
But,
if that's what it takes for me to be me,
then I'll live.
