I pad forward seeing the blinding sunlight as a black raven flies by. Oh, how that bird would taste. She stops to hear the dogs in behind the gate barking a her. "Stupid mutts." Stella chuckles and walks forward. She sees a street, and looks both ways, then bolts across. Her paws hit the rough pavement and finally fell the lush grass underneath her. I will never be hit by a car again. Never again. Suddenly, Stella turns and at the sound of a bird's flapping wings. Her ears p***k up. I turn quickly and run as fast as lightning. Then, I pounce and see a black souless eye look back at me before I break the unsuspecting victim's neck. I grasp it by the neck and pad forward. It was the black crow. Once, I made it across the street with my prey, I looked up and saw more. A group of crows stared ar her. She looked up and began to eat. The crow might have been their bretheren, but they were starving. The licked their beaks as the black tabby ate away at the dead crow. They all looked at each other with starving, beady eyes. They were unsure what to do. I finished the meal and looked up, seeing the large group of ravens. "Eat what you want." I chuckle. Only leaving a bone with meat or two. I walk forward with the sun in my eyes. I glare at my home, a white house with barking dogs in the back, as I turn I see the crows eating away at the bones. They attack each other for the small amount they get. I walk forward. The direction of home. My gait was held high with pride. I caught a crow and was able to make crows beg. How pathetic. The ravens ate away what they could, not caring if it was family or not. They were starving. One crow stayed where it were, not daring to step near the ravenous birds. It looked up and cawed to all the birds and flew off, as though it was insulted as though they would sink so low as eating their own's bones and blood.
