Scars of the Heart
Just a forewarning though. These entries of mine were done when I was feeling most negatively emotional so don't judge me by what I've written. If you don't like angst, then don't read. It's not like someone put a gun to your head to force you to rea
Promise of Peace
The dark abyss that is growing in her heart, she must contain it. That monster called hatred has begun growing once again. Her stare is blank and tears flow as blood. Once again the monster is encased in a cage of silver and myrrh. She grabs the bars but is burned by them and her wail echoes throughout the air. Stepping into sight, the music flows into her veins, easing her fury... putting her back into calm. The girl finds herself in a ballroom, the melody continues to flow through her and seduces the young maiden until she finds herself in the arms of a mysterious man. He is beautiful to her as he holds her to stand, his voice dark and swaying as he clasps her by the waist before leading her to the dance of the waltz.

She only had to comply silently as she did not raise a protest. Left, right, left right, twirl.. went their dance, she could only stare into his dark eyes. His dark lips. His white face. Then, his gloved hand that still held onto hers. 'Not yet, my child..' came his voice in her head. 'Your time has not come. While you are still at the state you are in, you cannot show yourself. So bury them into yourself. This world does not come to understand the dagger it has forced itself between your breasts. Nor will it ever understand how the flower has begun to bloom slowly into your heart where they had planted it in the beginning of time.'

Nodding obediently, the girl complied and felt the metal bars of the monster strengthen within her ever more secure. 'Yes...' she whispered as she once again found herself alone in the darkness before the floor beneath her feet disappeared as she felt herself free falling. Clutching her shoulders, she could feel her hair fighting against the gravity as it tried to desperately to resume its balance but the girl paid its pleas no heed, only that feeling of being free overwhelmed her.

Organ music filled the air, she finds her soul danced to its rhythm and found herself sinking deeper and deeper into that dark yet comforting abyss that was her heart. Contain the beast, she commanded with much confidence in her voice as she stroked its cage. Now was not the time to release her. She would await patiently for the next day, the next time. For now...

For now...

For now she would bend her head and appear solemn and meek. For now she would bend her pride and let the real monsters eat away at her. And as they nibbled on her fingers, she stared at the sky with a promise written in blood. She would have her revenge. That she will. And when the time came, she would slay the imps with her whip of thorns and completely erase their existence. She will make them feel the pain that they made her feel.

One day... one day....she will finally find that peace.

Notes: Hmm... it's sort of a story with hidden meaning this time around. It's not like I can control what comes to mind or what I write. So everything here is written upon impulse and how I feel. Yes, it's something about my parents hurting me again. So when I was sulking I listened to some music. I particularly like Moi Dix Mois, a J-rock-- well, to be more precise, Visual Kei band. Listening to this type of music seems to absorb all the anger and bitterness I feel inside and after listening I feel a whole lot better afterwards.. it also seems to get me into a creative mood. And this, this piece.

I was listening to Mephisto Waltz and Solitude. Really beautiful songs. I like how they mesh organ music with electric guitar.
