For all of you who are not in my band, but have been wondering about auditions, I'd just like to let you know that...

I'M GOING TO BE THE JUNIOR DRUM MAJOR THIS YEAR!!!!

WOOT! I'm so happy, its like...wow.

My Band director took me and the other candidate into this office, and basically said that it was a unanimous decision, and then he looked at me and said, "You will be the Junior Drum Major for the 2007-08 Marching Season." My mouth just dropped open, I could not believe it. The other candidate said that it was okay, and that he'd still help out on the field, (the director asked him to). So, I think he's upset, but not like enormously so. Also, I think that this will help his ego shrink back down to a regular human size.

I'm just so happy, I finally get my chance! blaugh Thanks everyone for your support!
