History: She used to be the guardian spirit of Katsuhi Village a long time ago which was pretty secluded from any kind of civilization. Resultingly, it was peaceful and mostly unknown about until at some point it was raided and basically burned to the ground. Hikari ended up going into hiding after failing to save the village, taking her fox form since her powers had diminished from the effort. She lived the life of a common fox for many years, roaming about the area of and around where the village used to be.
In the past century a prisoner camp ended up being close to the ruins of the village but downriver a ways. Hikari was able to drive them away, unfortunately, most of the prisoners were unable to leave due to injury or illness, so she stayed and helped them as best as she could until they either became well enough to leave or passed on. The
cross fleurie on a black leather collar that she always wears came from one of the less fortunate prisoners as a gift to her before they died.
In additon, she also wears a jade pendant on a silver chain at her neck; more info on this once I actually figure it out.
