The sun rises bright over the hill side behind Kaimei Hidaka‘s, a young girl of fifteen, home. She stretches her arms and lets out a yawn as her short brown hair is in a mess on her head as she wakes up. “Damn I’m tired…” Kaimei says as she rubs her sleepy eyes. She looks over at the clock and yawns again, not noticing the time. As she gets up she looks back at the clock. “s**t! Eleven thirty!” She yelps as she snatches up the clock. She throws it on the floor and runs over to her closet to get dressed. She throws on a pair of boxers and a plain grey button up top and looks around through the piles of clothing for some pants. “Damn, where did I put that ******** pair of…” she pauses and throws clothes about. “Ha! There you are!” she hisses as she snatches up a pair of baggy pants and her bow. She throws on the pants and ties up her bow and then runs over to the shoe rack and puts on a pair of black boots. Then she runs over to her fridge and stuffs her bento with food for Yasuka and her. Then she shoves her bento in her book bag and runs out the door.


Part 1 - Why did I have to wake up?


Once she arrives at school, it is time for lunch. She walks over to her locker and puts her book bag in it and takes out her bento box. Just as she is about to turn around Yasuka, a girl in a Black skirt and Blue sweater, walks up behind her with Lautsu, another girl dressed in all black. “Kai! Where in the world have you been! I asked your teacher if you had come to school today and she said you weren’t here!” Yasuka screamed as she put her hands on her hips. “Yasuka, hey… Sorry for being so late. I didn’t know what time it was.” Kaimei said in embarrassment. “Don’t make excuses, now let’s go to lunch.” Yasuka said as she grabbed Kaimei’s arms dragging her over to the lunch room.

They got to the lunch room and sat down at their table and looked about. Yasuka was about to get up and noticed the line was to long, so she sat back down and sighed, "Why do we always have to be last? I hate the stupid lunch line!" Latsu looked over at Yasuka and blurted out, "God Yasuka! Stop crying about it!" Kaimei slammed her hands on the table and stood up. She glared at Latsu for a momment and yelled, "Damn you! Why in the hell do you always have to give a ******** a** reply to everyones comments!" Latsu just glared and got up from the table.

After a momments pause Yasuka said, "Now Kai, that's a little insensitive, don't you think?" Yasuka pulled Kaimei back down to where she was sitting at the table. "You should be unhappy with your comment." Kaimei just looked away smiling to herself. "Idiots are always happy," she thought. Then Kaimei looked back at Yasuka and responded, "Nope." She reached in her bag and pulled out a bento with Spicy Curry and other treats in it. Just then, Kari, one of Yasuka's friends, walked up and sat down. "Why are you two fighting with Latsu-chan, huh?" she asked a bit confused. Yasuka pounded her fist on the table, "'cause she's a b***h!" Yasuka screamed. "Wow, now who's insensitive," Kaimei said while stuffing her face.
