Last night was amazing! My friends and I went to go see the senior play at school. In my high school it's been a tradition to have a play near the end of the school year performed by seniors. It's all musical too! I love musicals, last year was the Wizard of Oz, which I'm very sad that I missed out on it. But this year it was Beauty and the Beast! The seniors did an amazing job on it! I admit that some of the singing had made me cring and I had a bad seat. I sat under the balcony, and we missed 2 scenes that were on the balcony we were under. But all the good seats were reserved, and some of them weren't even there last night. They missed out on a really amazing performance! I was blown awy by the beautiful colors, stage design, and most of all the dancing and the costumes! Oh the costumes were so well done! I'm also in Theatre class, so I had helped out with some of the props, it's really nice to see what our hard work was used for. My more favored parts of the play have to be the funnier parts. Such as when Gaston was turned down by Belle, and the part Lafoue throws for him to cheer him up. I just love Babetta! Her costume was great! Chip was really cute too, but the senior that plays him is taller then the senir that plays Mrs. Pot! And she had to carry him out! The wardrobe, I forgotten her name, but her costume was amazing! It works too! She can open the doors and open the drawers too! The problem is the senior that plas her haves to be very carefl! If she moves to fast then she'll fall face first! Many of the larger costumes had to be lifted on the seniors! I couldn't stop singing when I arrived back home. Lume're was funny too! I love his line, "It's a girl!" He sad it in a such a funny way and like he intends to do...things. XD
