The Big Bother Back Again

Well, this week Veronica Mars will be, once more, cancelled for Big Brother Up Late.

Big Brother, as I'm sure all Australians know, is a show invented by uncreative idiots where they put a bunch a extroverts in a house together and see if they *do anything*. You see, the general population of the world is made up of stupid, pathetic losers who actually enjoy watching this.

On the other hand, Veronica Mars is a show about a teen sleuth, which sounds lame but it is totally awesome. She has serious issues, and helps solve mini-mysteries for her classmates, and works on larger cases with her dad, a PI. Stil thinking it's lame? Probably, but the producers pull it off and it turns out as an interesting, well-written program.

But after this season, hopefully Big Brother will be gone forever, as apparently it is only back on again because they had already bought the time for it, but its popularity is dropping... If this keeps up, it shall never plague us again!

And then there's the fact that we're talking about Big Brother Up Late, a totally unecessary extension of the load of s**t we call a "program".

So, I shall here on be cutting my Channel Ten viewing, which they probably don't even care about, but it's rating season and they're not getting MY approval!
I am therefore replacing Supernatural with Southpark, which now goes on for twice as long on SBS, watching less Neighbours, and basically just using it for the Simpsons.

Channel Ten has been on a notable decline of late; axing Veronica Mars and bringing back Big Brother was just the most recent of the events, which include bringing back Medium and programs like House getting worse and worse. The fact that they continuously resurrect Australian Idol is just tragic, and the Sunday viewing is consistantly dull.

This is one person who takes her television very "seriously", saying: "Big Brother will inevitably end up causing brain damage in our generation".
