So, I got mail. O.O
I never get mail, actually, I don't even know my dorm address, I just have any bills and such sent home, so to receive a package seemed pretty crazy. Especially when I saw the return address was from an S. Roberts in Sandy Utah. O.o I don't know anyone from Utah.
Things become stranger though, I opened it and found The Backstreet Boys 2005 album, it wasn't new either. The CD and case were all scratched up.
Well, the possibility of it being for another girl on campus with my name came up as I talked to my roommate about it.
Facebook does wonders.
There is in fact another girl on campus with my name who had ordered the CD, and it just happened to get sent to me. So, we did the right thing, and contacted her through message on facedbook.
We met at the bell tower, and I returned her order. I was apologetic for having opened it.... it did have my name on it after all.......
And she was nice, and explained it was a gag gift for a friend.
Excuses.
But, it was strange to meet someone with the same first and last name as me. It made me wonder what she was like on the way there, and when I met her I was disappointed. She had short sandy hair, and wore medium hoop earrings. She looked so normal, like she was already a 30 year old teacher. And her voice sounded older than how she looked.
I wonder what she thought of me, ya know?
I bet she thought I looked like a freak with my blue mohawk and my Trigun tee, and was disappointed with me too.
