T-Kun's 'fficial Instructions (Now With Ramble)
Basically, anything on my mind. Summaries of my day, rants, rambles, thoughts. I've always got something on my mind. Also, I am required by law to inform you that there are Zombies lurking. Have a nice day.
part 8
“Yes, I’m fine. Flail, er…he just…” He didn’t want to tell her the truth about what Flail was up to, but he couldn’t think of any words. Besides, he had never been able to lie to his aunt. Well…he…wanted to spend some time alone.” he struggled to get out.

“Ahh…but he’s not really alone, now is he?” She chuckled. “How old are you boys now? About 20? I think I know what he may be up to. You don’t have to hide anything from your auntie.” She sat down in an old arm chair, and Thrash followed, settling himself in a couch across from her.

Thrash’s eye twitched. So she had an idea. “Uh…right…you’re right…he’s with a guy…” Thrash shut up right there. He should have lied and said it was a girl. How was she going to react to this, the fact that one of her nephews, one that she had raised, was bisexual? He had never known her view points on such a thing, but knew that it wasn’t supported by everyone.

“A boy you say?” Her tone hadn’t changed. “Oh…I see…well then! That is his choice…”

She doesn’t like it. That was Thrash’s first thought.

“You’re lucky that you don’t have your uncle around anymore. If it were him you were telling this to, both of you would be right out the door, with nothing but each other.”

So she’s ok with this?

“It’s fine. I just wish you boys would trust me enough to tell me these things without trying to lie about it. And what about you, Thrash?”

“Me? Uh…?” He wasn’t sure what she meant for a few seconds, then caught on. “Nothing at all. I don’t want anyone, girl or boy. I’ve enough to deal with what with all the people that follow me around, and I know they’re only after one thing anyways, and it’s not something they’re getting from me.”

Ariae was silent for a few seconds, then spoke. “Really? You’ve no interest in bringing home a girl, starting a family of any sort? You could teach your children to be great hunters, like you.”

Thrash shook his head. “I don’t want children. Too much trouble.”

She frowned, leaning forward. “Thrash…please…”

“I won’t.”

“Thrash, we both know that Flail certainly isn’t going to have any children. Even if he is bisexual, and not gay, he won’t tie himself down to one person. Do you think I don’t remember your boys’ middle school years? He was always with some girl…same went during high school, for as long as I had you. It all seems to hold true until today, and now he’s with boys too. Even if he stuck with one person, it might be another man, and that…that means he wouldn’t have any children.”

Thrash knew she was right. But what was he going to do? He didn’t want to have kids. He couldn’t stand the thought of it. “I’m sorry to have bothered you, aunt Ariae.” He got up and left her behind. No way he could spend the night there. He’d just go to the nearest inn. At least there they wouldn’t be talking to him about such irritating topics.
