Chapter 3: The Rebellion Of ZAFT.

Haseo layed in his bed staring at the cieling and since he was in space the bed was on the cieling of the room he was stationed in. He was aboard the ArcAngel along with Crew Members Kira Yamato ((his new friend)), Flay Allister ((Kira's crush)) , Mirrilia Haw and Mu La Flaga just to name a few. He sighed but hit his head on the wall occasionally. The Zero G was very fun and interesting to mess around in. since he could float he sometimes pretended that he was indeed a gundam and had a water gun fight in the simulation room against Mu. He sighed with bliss and decided to get some sleep. He had spent five days under the Earth forces service and he was having the time of his life. It was a nice change of pace, he had spent seven months in tokyo, he was fifteen now.

- Meanwhile at a ZAFT fleet just outside the orbit of Venus. -

Athrun Zala's and Sheeta Connhaku's combat squads were briefed to attack the arcangel just as it passes. Sheeta turned the Nephitis to face her squad of GINN mobile suits and she ordered them "Allright Men. When you see the archangel pass by attack it from behind. Let it pass first and be careful of the strike gundam and the Strike Duo. There will also be a lot of skygraspers as well do not hold back in you're attack!" Every GINN soldier confirmed her order and stood by to attack. Sheeta's voice was as cold and sharp as a blade of ice and none of the lower ranking soldiers DARED to defy her wishes but they also never flirted with her for fear she would rip their throat out.

Athrun shifted the Aegis gundam in place. Sheeta's unit was on the OPPOSITE side of the ambush zone. He was positioned along with the gundams; Duel, Buster, and the Blitz. Athrun radioed the other three mobile suits the exact same orders that Sheeta gave to her unit of GINNS. Then all there was left to do for now was wait out for the ensuing battle. Athrun decided to Radio Sheeta, he switche on his radio masking and he said over the intercom "You know you should be very careful."

This made her Scoff as Sheeta stated in reply "and you shouldn't worry so much about me, I don't need you're protection..." She was surprised when the Arcangel was already so close in such short time then she alerted athrun of the enemie's current status then initiated the attack on the arcangel.

Haseo felt a mighty tremor as the Arcangel shook. he floated to his window to see ZAFT mobile suits! He informed Mirallia and Kira then the whole Arcangel went into alert status. Kira, Mu and Haseo mader their way to the mobile suit dock on the far east side of the arcangel, while Mirallia and Flay went to the Operator bay in the controll room. Haseo smile lightly, his first interstellar battle! But Kira warned him of the dangers of mobile suit battling. ((and for you precious few readers out there; don't forget that Haseo is of the Uchiha clan)). Haseo nodded as Kira and mu explained everything and after what seemed like forever they entered the dock and changed into their space combat suits.

Kira was the first to enter the cockpit of the gigantic Strike gundam in all it's majesty. He told Mirallia to equip the Aile pack onto his strike. Then Mu practically shoved Haseo into the Duo strike, then when flay asked him what pack he wanted he said " uhhhh damn what did kira say the packs were again.. uhh OH I got it! Sword pack please!" Flay's voice rang over the intercom "Affirmative! Sword strike pack is now being equipped." All he heard was clanking outside and soon he had a gigantic sword on the back of his strike gundam. "whoa awesome!!" Haseo said as Mu entered a smaller space shuttle known as a skygrasper. Then he saw Kira and the strike step up on these odd moving floor panels and Kira's voice rang out "Kira Yamato, Aile strike Gundam LAUNCHING!!! there was a loud roar as Kira took off into the depths of space. then he realised that Mu went last so he had his gundam walk up to the foot thingies and he said " Haseo Uchiha Sword strike Duo, Launching!!!" He heard three beeps and soon he was being shot foward so fast it was like being in a roller coaster ride. and finally he was in space!!!

Haseo flew around holding the energy charged beam sabre in his gundams massive hand and he smiled with glee but it was shrot lived as gunshots hit his gundam but all it did was....well nothing! incredible. This must have been the phase shift armor Kira had explained to him. He saw Mu coming up in the skygrasper and Finally Flay said over the radio " Eliminate all enemy units, and be careful, we detected four gundams and an unknown unit and a horde of GINN suits! Be on you're guard!" every one said "ROGER!" at the exact same time and the battle began!

Kira, Mu La Flaga and Haseo carved their way through wave upon wave upon wave of enemies until Kira began fighting with four gundams. Haseo tried to fly over to help but was intercepted by an odd mobile suit that resembled A giant floating woman with no feet. " WHO ARE YOU!?" The girl laughed a cold harsj laugh and said "My name isn't important to a dead man!!!"

Haseo threw several boomerangs at the Nephitis but she dodged it effectively and shot him with several lasers. Haseo grunted with frustration and suddenly he activated his sharingan eye and then the battle began getting interesting. Haseo Drew his oversized beam sabre and he noticed that she was closing in for proximal combat as well. the duo swordfighted for minutes on end.

Kira and Mu La Flaga were tied down by Athrun and the Aeigis as well as the Duel Buster and Blitz gundams. "ATHRUN!!!!" "KIRA!!!!" They shouted at each other fighting furiously. Kira barely managed to keep his cool as he staved off all four of the skilled pilots. he critically damaged the duel and the blitz and they retreated. now it was between him, the buster, and the Aegis. Kira and Athrun argued as the battle ensued. Until Athrun and the Buster retreited.

Haseo and Sheeta's batte raged on. Haseo's gundam missing an arm and leg while the Nephitis was missing an arm and it's head. Sheeta was determined to take down this newbie. Haseo's sharingan was helping him fight her a great deal but it wasn't enough. The two kept fighting onward until Kira, Haseo and Mu were surrounding the Nephitis. "Hmph you win now, but keep in mind rookie, it was just beginners luck." and The Nephitis retreated. Kira made his Aile strike gundam face Haseo's, well mangled gundam and he said "Good job, you're pretty good for a rookie." Haseo panted for air and he said "yeah but...these things are very difficult to controll, I'm sorry for wrecking you're gundam man..." Kira and Flay told him not to worry about it as they flew back to base with Haseo in between them carrying his machines busted parts.

Sheeta cursed as she docked her damaged mobile suit into the ZAFT ship and said "Damned rookie....beginners luck that's all." Athrun looked at her and said " Listen it wasn't you're fault and YOU'RE just a newbie too so.." " Oh shut up athrun, it's not like you did much better." Athrun was happy though, because tomorrow he was getting married, because he was Lacus Clyne's fiance'e.
