He layed on his bed
staring at the ceiling in dismay.
"So I love this girl" he told her,
"But I don't think she knows"
He was sad, oh so sad
The one time he could love
and nobody was left to love back.
"Its spreading, I don't have much time left!"
he wailed.
And she looked right at him and said
"She knows
and she loves you, too"
A smile spread across his face
as he slowly closed his eyes.
She watched as his smile faded slowly
his chest stopped rising and lowering.
"I love you" she repeated
tears stung her eyes.
And with those three words
the beeping of the moniter stopped
and a long beep took their place.
She looked at the line and then his handsom face.
He was gone.
And when she got home
tired and alone
she found a note with his handwriting
sitting on her pillow
It said;
Dear Erika,
I love you
and you love me
don't worry
I'll wait for you
if you wait for me
I'm gone now
but your not
I'll watch over you because I love you
and you love me

P.S. God said hello
and told me to tell you
not to worry
he'll watch me
and watch you too.
