With that said let me move on. Sometimes I wonder why people feel the need to lie to make themselves seem cool or better then what they really are. Why not just tell the truth? Eventually people get caught in they're lies and when they do its pretty funny. My dad has been sick in the hospital for about a month and he finally got to come home. Our neighbor came over to visit. (Everyone has that 1 nosey neighbor that comes around just to ask questions and is really annoying...yeah thats the one that came to visit) Anyway she came by asked how things were and left. Showing the true extent of her noseyness. About an hour later she comes over with some soup that she claimed she made. It was in a nice pretty bowl it looked like some nice bean soup. I thanked her for it and after she leaft me and my mom sat there trying to decide who should taste it if it was even edible. Finally I tasted it. It was plain and seemed so familar in taste and then my mom tasted it and at the same time we both blurted out..."She didnt make this. It tastes like progresso soup in a can" We decide to test our theory. My mom bought a can of progresso bean soup and it tasted exactly the same and looked exactly the same. We caught little miss perfect in a lie. I couldnt wait to blow up her spot so I called the fake Martha Stewart up and told her to come over and get her bowl. She came over of course and thats when I decided to to let her have it. I sweetly said "Your soup was so good, you have to tell me your recipe" I handed her a pen and paper and her jaw almost hit the floor. She knew she was caught. So she paused for a moment to think up a good lie. Then stupidly she admitted "Oh it wasnt a recipe, it was one of those grocery store soup starter kits" So I asked what store she got it from. She blurted out the name of a grocery store, took her bowl and fled back to her house to hide her lying *** . sure enough the store she claimed she got it from doesnt sell soup starter kits... neutral Go figure...
I so wanna ask her...wth was point in lying about making homemade soup? You look like you cant cook worth a damn anyway so we would have been just as thankful if you had said I made some soup in an can. Ugh I just hate posers.
