Long have I sat in the shadows of Gaia, and again I emerge to interact with the populace.
I cannot locate the order of samurai that I encountered before my long departure. Perhaps someday we shall meet again.
I have cleaned up the Evernight Tavern since my return. Hopefully it will flourish with life once more... but it will take much work.

There was a disturbance in the bar this evening. It resolved, although not without violence. Thankfully it ended before I became violent. I fear that would have meant the end of the tavern. Still, after the incident, one of the more regular patrons inquired as to what exactly I was.
I knew that the question would come up eventually. Knowing what I am, it is inevitable that I could only blend in with the humans for so long. Still, I do not want to reveal all that I am until such time as is necessary. As such, I told him that I was a half-dragon, and that I was both an expert warrior and a capable mage. Nothing more needs to be known. Sometimes silence is the better option.
The Lords of the Rising Sun informed me that they accept my alliance. I think this will prove beneficial to both parties. My values mesh closely with those of the samurai clan, and this alliance should secure a bond should I need them to come to my aid in a time of crisis.

I discovered an order of samurai today. They seem very true to the samurai ideal, and definitely the kind of people I would be happy to serve at the tavern. When the time comes, they will also be people I can turn to to continue my own samurai training. I have sent correspondence to ~Yapari-san~ of the Lords of the Rising Sun. Now I await her response.

In an effort to raise money, I decided to open a tavern. The Evernight Tavern. Even for its first night, it was a little busier than I had anticipated. I even got some people who agreed to help me run the place. I can only hope that in time the tavern will help me to get enough money to buy myself a Ronin Yukata. As in all things, time will tell.

I have begun to make friends with some of the local people here on Gaia. They seem genuinely nice and good-natured. Unfortunately, a person must sort through the rabble to find those that make good friends.
I still as yet have not found any reliable way to make money. I have noticed a very strange magick at work in this land. It seems that whenever I move around the countryside or talk to other people, gold appears in my wallet! I hope this is a natural occurence in this strange land.

Shortly after arriving in Gaia, my belongings were stolen from me in my sleep. Now I am left with just the meager garments that I wear to bed. (I'm not going to wear armor or anything to bed.)
After walking into the nearest town, I seem to blend in relatively well with the other peasants. I figure I shall have to find some way to make some money and thus acquire some more garments more suited to my liking.

Here marks the beginning of my journey in this new land that the locals call Gaia. This journal shall lay claim to my encounters and my exploits, that after my departure from this world an accurate history may be found.
I was born to a small human family in a village on the outskirts of the kingdom of Gaeth. A modest family of blacksmiths, but not without value. Around my 15th year, I began to undergo a number of physical changes that set me apart from my human friends. My nails became talons. My eyes grew reptilian and my vision more acute. Knowing that I could not remain, I exiled myself and wandered the countryside.
I do not know how long I wandered, but one day I was found by a great silver dragon. She showed me what I was: a half-dragon. The offspring of a human and dragon coupling. My life began to make sense, and this knowledge of my heritage brought meaning to my life.
She took me under her wing for the next seven years. She taught me how to fight, how to strategize. She taught me the language of the dragons, and how the different dragon species were interconnected, dispite their differences. She even taught me some of their magick.
Now I am a champion for dragons. With Draconoctis, a katana I forged with my own two hands, I keep order among the dragon nations, and unite them in times of need. They answer to my call as readily as I answer to theirs. I travel the worlds in an effort to keep order. My allies are numerous, and my enemies dwindle daily.
