On a daily basis, I go to the Arenas and I honestly vote for many Gaians, as well as commenting them. One thing I've noticed a lot was that people don't put much effort into their submission. They use gold to submit their avatar, and they don't get anything back because people vote 1-5's for them. It's a total waste of gold. I'm also impressed by the Spotlight avatars and I have to agree that they are all unique and very detailed. What I find in a winner is that they put as much items on their avatar as possible, but organize it so that it won't be messy/sloppy. It must have uniqueness; not a character from a manga or anime, and definitely must not be Naruto & etc..
But for those who used hard work to arrange their avatars; they did a wonderful job and if they take note of the comments people leave them, then they might even win at the next Arena.

Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Evan and I'm 13. I take Honors classes and I'm in Band, so I get to do a lot of playing and being a music nerd and all.. xd
I'm currently practicing Pirates of the Caribbean. It sounds really, really cool, but only with the whole band playing together. With a clarinet, you can't create much of the effects the song has to offer.
On April 24, we went to a music festival and performed Liturgical Fanfare, Country Wildflowers, and African Sketches. The judge gave us a.... good. Omg, we deserve an Excellent or maybe a Superior! I can't believe that another horrible group got an Excellent. Anyways, my conductor blamed the judge for being wrong and misguided. blaugh
Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra performed on May 2 and got Excellent. stressed I hate them soooo much. What's so good about strings and wood, anyways?
