After Riku left, Cloud heated up some week old pizza and turned on the Dodgers game, Roxas was on the top of the stairs watching Sora join Cloud and listened to them debate which team was better the Dodgers or the Metts, Roxas was never as enthusiastic about sports like his dad and his brother were, he was a music enthusiast, Roxas could play guitar almost flawlessly thanks to his neighbor Demyx, but all his dad seemed to care about was sports and whether or not his son's were being whores. "Roxas! Get The Phone" Aerith yelled from the kitchen "Kay!" Roxas walked to his room and picked up the phone "Hello?"
"Hi... is Sora there?" Roxas looked out his window to see that Axel was the one calling "Yeah... he's here, i'll get him" Roxas covered the speaker "SORA!!!..." Roxas yelled, he could hear Sora coming up the steps "what is it?" Sora said in an annoyed tone "Axel's on the phone for you" Sora took the phone and went into his room.
after Sora left him alone Roxas flopped down on his bed and stared at the ceiling until he slowly fell asleep. The next morning Roxas awoke to his kitten Paupo playing with his hair, Roxas tossed Paupo to the floor and put on a clean white shirt, his dry (but dirty) jacket, and a clean pair of jeans with holes in the knees, then he picked his bookbag up and went downstairs to get something to eat, when he got downstairs he saw Sora asleep on the sofa, "Sora! Have You Found My Keys Yet!" Aerith yelled from the kitchen "He's Asleep!" Roxas dropped his school books on the coffee table, "I didn't do it!" Sora said as he jolted upward "What didn't you do?" Roxas said curiously
"umm... nothing... help me look for Aerith's keys"
"They're on the key rack" Roxas said in a wise a** tone "Nu-uh"
"Yu-hu" Roxas pointed to the key rack "Oh... Aerith! I Found Your Keys!!!" Aerith ran into the room, grabbed her keys off the key rack, and left for work. Once Aerith left, Roxas and Sora ate breakfast and went outside to wait for the bus where they were met by Kairi and her sister Xion. "Hi guys" Kairi said as she sat down beside Sora, "Why is 'it' here?" Roxas hated Xion... Xion was 5 years younger then him and never left him alone... and worst of all she gave him the most horrible nickname "I had no choice... Yuffie made me bring her" Xion then tried to sit on Roxas' lap.. when he wouldn't let her she whined "Roxie!... why don't you love me" right at that moment the bus came, "Yes! there is a god!" Roxas thought as he ran to the bus.
Roxas sat at the back of the bus and listened to his iPod so no one would bother him, When Riku got on the bus he sat at the back with Roxas. When Roxas looked up at Riku he noticed Riku had a black eye and a small (but very noticeable) cut across his face."Whoa... what happened to you?" Roxas said in a Holy Crap kinda tone "Oh... umm... i fell down the frount steps last night... and... and hit my face on the ceramic turtle" Roxas didn't believe Riku for 2 reasons... He used falling and hitting his face as the exuse last time he had a black eye, and the other reason was Riku stalled while telling Roxas how he hurt himself. "did you tell your dad?"
"umm... yeah... he- he knows" Riku looked at the floor with a sad expression on his face, at that moment Roxas knew how Riku really got his black eye.
At school Roxas couldn't stop thinking about Riku, he was pretty sure he failed his math test he was so concentrated on Riku. When lunch time rolled around Roxas decided to look for Riku and confront him, after searching for about 5 minutes Roxas found Riku in the library working on late homework. "Boo" Roxas whispered to Riku, Riku looked up at Roxas "oh... hey" he whispered back. Roxas sat across from Riku "So... what are you working on?" Roxas said in a normal tone, which for a library, was kind of loud "Hush!" Mr. Zexion the librarian whispered sharply "Spanish" Riku got straight D's in that class "Soy un Perdedor" Roxas said, he knew a one phrase in Spanish 'I'm a loser' and the only reason he knew that phrase was because of the song Loser, "what?"
"it means i'm a loser in Spanish" Riku looked stressed. "Quiet!" Mr. Zexion whispered in a sharper tone while throwing a pencil at the back of Roxas' head "oww..." Roxas whispered, "so... how'd you get your black eye again?" Roxas had a tendency to take a weed wacker to the bush rather then beat around it, "like i said this morning.... i.... umm... got into a fight with my brother" Roxas now was certain Riku's dad beat him up "Ah Ha!!!.... I Knew It!!!" Roxas said loud enough to startle the entire library "Knew What?" Riku was confused "I Know That You Really Didn't Fall On A Turtle Or Got Into A Fight With Your Brother!!!"
"Excuse me.... but you two need to leave" Mr. Zexion said politely as he pointed to the door, Roxas helped Riku carry his books to his locker, as they were walking Roxas tripped over an abandoned bookbag and fell flat on his face "Roxas... are you okay?" Riku said in concerned tone "yeah... your spanish book broke my fall" Roxas gathered up the books he dropped when he fell and stood up "Roxas... your knee... it's bleeding!" Roxas looked down and noticed he cut his knee on a piece of sharp plastic that was left on the floor "oww... it hurts like hell" Roxas wiped the blood away with his sleeve, but it didn't help all that much his knee was still gushing blood "you need a band-aid... your sleeve isn't going to stop the before lunch ends... c'mon i'll help you to Nurse Lockheart's office" Riku put his arm around Roxas' waist "He-hey!... i can still walk!" Roxas was blushing bright red, Riku laughed and moved his arm "maybe the nurse can also look at your eye.... and that cut on your face" Roxas thought if the nurse asked him how he got the black eye he'd tell the truth because Roxas would be there "yeah... maybe" Riku said as he started towards the nurse's office with Roxas following.
When they arrived at the nurse's office the noticed that Larxene was already in there and she was violently pukeing so they had to wait for a few minutes before they could see her. After Larxene's brother picked her up Roxas went to get his knee bandaged, "did you two get into a fight?" since Nurse Lockheart didn't know what really happened she assumed that they got into a fight "No.. he fell and cut his knee... and i fell outta bed and hit my head on the side table this morning" Roxas gave him a dissapointed look "okay... well you two need to be more careful" she said while cleaning Roxas' cut with proxide and putting a barbie band-aid on it "who the hell supplies a school with barbie band-aids!!!" Roxas though as he and Riku were leaving the nurse's office, "hey... Riku... did... did your dad give you that black eye?" Roxas said in a hushed tone, Riku sighed "you just won't give up will you?" Roxas peeled the barbie band-aid off his knee "nope... so you might as well tell me" Riku whispered the answer in Roxas' ear, Roxas looked up at him with a 'i wish i weren't right' expression on his face. "Don't feel sorry for me.... he's been like that since... you know... the crash" Riku's mom died in a car crash six years ago, ever since then his dad can't keep a job and goes into a drunken rage and beats on Riku and his brothers.
"well... your life sucks... it's hard not to feel sorry for you" Roxas' tone was sarcastic, Riku laughed and said "Soy un Perdedor" Roxas laughed "yep...", at that moment the bell rang whitch meant lunch was over so the two boys went they're seprate ways.

It was a rainy Tuesday afternoon Roxas had just gotten home from school and was soaked from the rain. But he didn't care, all he could think about was how his own brother betrayed him, Sora knew how Roxas felt about Axel but he still went after him and it wasn't the first time Sora had done this either. When they were 7 Roxas had a crush on this girl named Namine, Namine wasn't like any normal girl sure she was shy but once you got to know her she became more outgoing, fun, and cool to be around.
On Valentines Day Roxas was going to give her a valentine that told him how he felt about her, but when he went to give it to her he saw Sora had beaten him to the punch, Sora and Namine were holding hands walking down the hall of the elementary school, Roxas was crushed, but once Namine moved away 7 years later he got over it.
But now he was in love with Axel, Axel and Roxas met almost 4 weeks ago when Axel moved into the house next door, that day it was sunny and bright. Roxas was helping his step mom Aerith bring groceries inside when he first saw Axel, at that moment Roxas embarrassed himself by slipping on the wet gravel stones and landing on the grocery bag with eggs, a carton of milk, and worst of all tampons in it. When he looked up to see if Axel had seen him slip he felt so stupid when he saw Axel standing just a few feet away trying not to laugh "are you okay?" was the first thing he said to Roxas "umm... y-yeah" Roxas said back "do.. you need help?" thats when Sora came outside "yeah he needs help... in more ways then one" Axel looked confused "umm... okay" was his response "I'm Axel... and the guy on the porch with the cell phone glued to his ear is my brother Reno"
Roxas was getting up when he noticed the box of tampons and the cartons of milk and eggs burst leaving him wet with tampons stuck to him "oh god" he whispered under his breath, Sora was crying he was laughing so hard "ha ha ha.. what were you trying to do Roxas?... bake yourself a tampon cake" he said loud enough that Riku who lived 2 streets away could hear "shut...the ********... up" Roxas said crossly "Aww did i upset you Captain Tampon?" Sora was now being a jerk "I SAID SHUT THE ******** UP!!!" Sora was then laughing again "what?" Roxas saw the shadow of Aerith in front of him "oh god.... i'm so grounded" Roxas though "Roxas Strife inside now" Aerith's voice had the "your grounded till you graduate" tone to it, Aerith was very strict when it came to things like fighting, swearing, stealing, or drinking and if she caught Sora or Roxas doing any of that she'd lecture them for a while and send them to they're room untill they're father came home. "Y- yes ma'am" Roxas walked into the house with Aerith following.
Now almost a whole month later Roxas was sitting on the floor soaking wet staring at the ceiling trying not to think about Sora or Axel or what they might be doing. After an hour went by there was a knock at Roxas' bed room door "Roxas... dinners ready" a sweet voice said "I'm not hungry Aerith..." Aerith then walked inside Roxas's room and sat on the floor next to him "Whats wrong?.... your never not hungry... are you sick?"
"no... i just ate alot of icecream when i got home" Roxas lied he was hungry but to depressed to eat "Thats a lie..... you've been in your room since you got home from school"
"Aerith... how do you know that you were at work when i got home" Roxas said in a slightly creeped out tone "Riku tutors your brother in math on Tuesdays and he was waiting in the kitchen for Sora when he saw you walk upstairs soaking wet... and he told me you haven't come downstairs since you got home"
"wait... Riku has keys to our house?!" Roxas said confused "change your clothes or you'll get sick" Aerith said as she left "YOU HAVEN'T ANSWERED MY QUESTION!!!" he yelled out the open door. After Roxas changed into dry clothes he went down stairs where he was smacked hard in the face with a giant inflatable pool toy and knocked unconscious "Roxas, Roxas wake up i'm so sorry i didn't mean to hit you that hard..." A worried voice said "ugh... my head... what happened?"
"Thank god.... i thought i killed you" Roxas opened his eyes to see Riku 2 inches from his face "AH!!! and... oww..." Riku looked at him worried that he might of given Roxas a concussion. "I'm so sorry!" Riku said while giveing the blonde a hug "Thank god your alright!" while Riku was distracted, Roxas grabed his diary, which had been under the couch for a week, and smacked Riku upside the head with it.
After 30 minutes passed Sora came home and Aerith served dinner, Riku was getting ready to go home when Aerith said "why don't you stay for dinner... it's cold but it's still better then old takeout" Riku ate old takeout every night since his dad lost his job and started drinking again "you sure theres enough?" Riku lived with his dad and his 3 older brothers Loz, Yazoo, and Kadaj so he didn't get much to eat "theres plenty.... come sit i'll serve you a plate"
"okay just let me call my dad first"
"okay... do you need to use my phone?" Aerith had been pitying Riku since his dad was fired "no... my phone is still in service"
"alrighty then" Riku walked into the other room and called his dad.
After dinner Roxas walked up to his room still thinking about Axel seeing him with the tampons. He opened the window and peered out, looking around dully until he saw inside Axel's house. He looked a bit closer and noticed Axel in his room, withought a shirt on. He blushed a little bit while staring at Axel's bare chest. Axel's back was turned to the window. Axel had moved his arms a little bit until Roxas realized that he was changing. He blushed even brighter, after staring at Axel for 5 minutes he heard someone comeing, he quickly closed his curtians and turned around to see who it was.
Sora came in roxas' room while the blush was fadeing from Roxas' face. "What's the matter, Captin Tampon?" Sora asked with a smirk. "Get out!" Roxas yelled at him, he was getting up to push Sora out of his room, "And don't call me Captin Tampon!" Roxas yelled while pushing Sora out of his room, Riku was still downstairs helping Aerith wash the dishes when he heard this and walked upstairs since he didn't want Roxas to get grounded again, Riku walked up the stairs quickly to the fighting siblings "You guys okay?" Riku asked, Roxas looked away and said "No..go away." in a harsh tone, a soft blush was forming on his face, Sora eventually walked away leaving Roxas and Riku alone, "What's the matter?" Riku asked the younger blonde "N-Nothing....Sora's just been a jerk to me since Axel moved here" Roxas muttered angrly, he was almost to tears. "It's okay... Soras always been a jerk to you" Riku was trying to be comforting, wanting Roxas to himself he walked over to Roxas, hugging him tightly. "Uh...what the hell are you doing?" Roxas asked, Roxas tried to pull away but ended up falling backwards takeing Riku down with him.
Roxas was being squished by Riku who had fallen on him "oww.... i- i can't breath.... Riku get off me"
"oh god... i'm so sorry" Riku said as he lifted himself up to the point that he was on his hands and knees hovering over Roxas. downstairs Roxas could hear his dad walking up the steps "oh crap.... he's home EARLY!!!" Roxas said panicked "we've gotta get up like now" but it was to late,Cloud walked into Roxas' room, which was right across from the stairs.
"Hey son...I'm home.....oh....?" Cloud said when he opened the door.Cloud saw riku ontop of his 14 year old son and he was in shock, "Riku.... Get Out!" He yelled sternly at the silver haired male, Roxas blushed brightly "No! Dad! It wasn't like that! we fe-" he was cut off by his father "NO! I WON'T HAVE YOU WHOREING AROUND WITH RANDOM GUYS!!!, Your brothers a big enough whore for the both of you!!!"
Sora had heard all of the noise and went into Roxas' room, "Dad! I'm not a whore!" He said angrly, even though the way he acted it was as if he WAS a whore, Sora then saw Riku and Roxas "way to go Captain Tampon...." Sora said in a proud tone, "We Weren't Doing Anything!!!!" Roxas was mad and scared, "Shut Up!" Cloud yelled while
storming into Roxas' room and pulling Riku's hair to get him off Roxas, Riku had hissed in pain since Cloud had pulled him too hard. Aerith ran into the room to see what all the commotion was, when she got there she saw Cloud holding Riku by his hair, "No..honey! Let go of him!" she yelled, pulling Riku away from Cloud. "No! They were about to have sex! I won't forgive him!" Cloud yelled angrly. Roxas had curled into a ball on the floor and started crying, "I-I...It wasn't like that..... W-We...." Roxas quivered, he was crying harder now.
Aerith sat down next to Roxas and tried to cofort him "shhh.... Roxas it's okay... it's okay" she said while hugging the blonde "w-we fell... there was nothing bad about it" Roxas was crying violently "i beleve you.... your a good kid" he had settled down a little bit "Aerith.... why did dad freak out like that?" Roxas asked "is he homophobic?"
"No honey.... he's not... he freaked out because he still sees you as his little boy" Aerith dried Roxas' tears, Roxas felt like the teenage girl in a after school 'sex is bad' special.
during Aerith and Roxas' heart to heart, Cloud forcefully brought Riku downstairs "Roxas is 14.... to young to be doing.... whatever it was you were doing" Cloud was still pissed "what... you mean falling?" Riku's voice was sarcastic "listen if i ever catch you two 'falling' again.... there will be trouble" Cloud still didn't beleve that they fell "we really did fall!.... Nothing Happened!!!" Riku yelled, yelling wasn't a smart thing to do when Cloud was mad "You are not my favorite person right now.... so yelling isn't a smart thing to do!!!" Riku felt like he was shrinking "Mr. Strife... sir Roxas and I aren't haveing sex.... we're just friends.... i never even thought of sleeping with him"
Riku lied about not thinking of sleeping with Roxas.... he thought about it alot, "Riku... what time do you have to go home?" Cloud calmed down a bit.... "umm.... 15 minutes ago" Riku didn't want to go home... he knew that his dad would be drunk and and angry and beat up Riku for being a late "do you need a ride home?" Cloud asked trying to be nice "no thank you" Riku then got his things and walked home dreading what was waiting for him.
