WHy is it that I can never seem to find the item(s) I need in order to complete an avatar? I'm completely stumped ... again.
I'm determined to use the top part, at least. I've been tying to find an outfit that can use the purple pirate top, and I like the way the coocoon scarf stands out against the purple. The problem is that because I am using the pirate top, I'm running into the same problems of not being able to find a bottom that doesn't look weird, due to the placing of the top. O_o The bottom part I have on there just because I like the way it meshes with the ninja stockings.

What do Fools and Assassin's Have In Common? |

Theophilos is sitting on top of a rooftop, having climbed there to avoid soldiers trailing him.* He's contemplating and reviewing the information he's gathered so far, trying to gauge the scope of the threat he may have uncovered during the course of his investigation.
* He likes rooftops.
I peered over the edge of the rooftop. Sancho's men were trudging back toward the Chateau Narvonnais, no doubt dreading the tongue-lashing they would receive for losing me. I scanned the area for others, saw none, and dropped lightly into the alley, frightening a small boy who was playing with a pile of sticks.
"I was on the roof," I explained.
"Why?" he asked.
"Excellent question," I said. "I couldn't think of a good reason to be there either, so I came back down."
"Oh," he said.
I pulled out a piece of candy from my pouch. "It's what fools do," I said.
"Oh," he said, taking it.
He went back to his work. I went back to mine.
The Parisian Prodigal by Alan Gordon Chapter 7, pp. 140
I've always wondered what Altair would do if he ever leaped before looking, and startled a small (or even not-so-small) child in an alleyway. Obviously he wouldn't give the kid candy, but I thought Theo handled things nicely. That, and since he's a fool, complete with cap and bells, no one would really expect him to be up to anything devious. His profession makes for a good cover.

eek Have you ever read Darth Malak's file on Wookiepedia? He's actually...actually not bad-looking before he fell to the Dark Side. I like Alek!! whee Wow... I'm all depressed about what happened to him, now... He had black hair, blue eyes, and I really, really have to find that set of comic books. 3nodding And he had a thing for Jarael.
^^ Jarael & Alek ((aka "Darth Malak" wink ) after he lost his hair due to being experimented upon by a wacked-out Mandalorian scientist. ^^
While searching for Sith artifacts that were owned by the Covenant on the planet Odryn, Zayne told Jarael that Alek, along with Shel Jelavan, went on ahead to Coruscant for "his part of the plan."[1] Shel and Alek sent out a holographic transmission to Masters Vandar Tokare and Vrook Lamar on Coruscant. However, due to the arrest warrant for the Revanchists, Alek went under the guise of "Captain Malak" and adorned blue tattoos on his head. I'd always wondered about those tatoos....
...Alek was sent to the Revanchists with a final warning. He went under protest, telling Jarael that he would remain "Malak," "until there was an end to the war's suffering."
"We'll go to the front – and beyond it, if it'll save the galaxy. Sometimes you have to enter the darkness to save the light." ―Alek Squinquargesimus
P.S. He and Carth worked together, too.
