The creaking died down, and there was finally blessed silence.
The mattress groaned in appreciation as its springs were finally put to rest after a particularly strenuous exercise. Today was quite different from other days and never has the workout been particularly long and taxing.
The mattress tested its springs and noticed that some of them seemed bent in. It grew anxious and cursed the humans that took no care for their ungodly possessions. Where were its furniture rights? Did the humans actually believed that its only purpose was to provide a cushiony surface on which they may do their humanly deeds?
No. The mattress exists for a greater purpose. The beliefs that stemmed from its conception was that humans cannot live without the mattress. The mattress is akin to a holy sanctuary where the divine reside. Thus, the humans must cater to the mattress' every whim.
But a problem exists. How to convey the conflicted feelings of the present matter? Ah, but no matter, tis too late. Running feet thudding across the floor tells the mattress that it's in for another ride.
