I'd fill it full of secret thoughts so that you would know
The things I wrote were things I was too reticent to show
Things that turned around within me trying to escape
But I hugged them close inside me in a passionate embrace
Saying that I love you is so easy and so true
but oh!, the things inside me, I've omitted telling you
The way your eyes look into mine, abandons all my fears
I felt it you could love me so, I'd live thru out all years
When I say I'm like a guy, who worships what you see
Whose heart is yours and what is more, you are my guiding star
You light the lamp and lead the way, and I'll be close behind
I'm well aware that in this world, there's no more of your kind
I've written all my thoughts for you, which make me truly proud
It now remains for me to speak these thoughts to you aloud.
