Well, now that we got to here we can describe today.
I am online for AmeriCorps filling out the application and low and behold, I need to know what city I was born in. Okay, let me call my grandmother, she wasn't there for it. She asks my grandfather and my uncle, they weren't there for it. They call my aunt who is close to my mom, she wasn't there and thinks I was born in Georgia. Finally my mom replies on facebook, Maryland is the winner, which everyone at that time lived in. Amazing, so no one apparantly got an invite or it was lost in the mail, what a way to find that out, all you have to do is ask. Then you'll know if you weren't the child they hoped for. lol. ANYWAYS So my Aunt calls and long story short, thinks that AmeriCorps, which is a government funded organisation based on grants given to organisations that the government trusts may be a fruad and I shouldn't do anything without everyone's say. "You can't just trust your uncle's opinion Christina, you have to ask everyone about it because we may not want you to do it. Your mom's going to come home and find out your in the Peace Corps and kick my a** for letting you go."
Yay! Talk about back up and trust. Bet you a grand if someone tried to beat me up they'd help eachother to kick their asses, but if you want to do something without them knowing or asking, watch out, they've got knives in their boots.
