*awesome*
This is mine hellsing story.dox:

I was laying in a pool of my own blood, on the brink of death. I suddenly felt someone looming over me; I rolled over in response. There was a woman around my age standing there; she seemed to study me pensively. She had a musket slung over her left shoulder, very long flowing jet-black hair, glasses, a suit, and a broad smile. I started to ask,” Who ar-“ “Don’t speak,” she whispered, tenderly placing her hand over my mouth. “Don’t worry I won’t let you die,” She continued, picking me up and slinging me over her right shoulder. She started to carry me out of the alleyway where I was injured. “Ohh where’s my manners, I haven’t introduced myself. My name is Rip Van Winkle,” She apologized. I opened my mouth to introduce myself but she stopped me. “There’s no need to introduce yourself, I already know who you are. You’re Nikolai, Captain of the 8th squad of the 5th Battalion of the 2nd Shock Army,” Van Winkle interjected. I sighed recalling how I became so wounded.
First off, I’m on the German side of the First World War. Don’t patronize I was in Germany at the time and was drafted. Well anyway, my squad and I were sent to investigate the disappearance of a fellow squad stationed in a nearby village. A vampire who turned those men into ghouls ambushed us. I managed to dispatch them however my teammates were not as fortunate; the vampire devoured them. The vampire stabbed me with his hand through my chest, but he got close enough to where I could slay him with a several handgun shots and a knife stab to the heart. He turned to dust, leaving me on the ground, I was able to pick myself up but I only made it three steps before I collapsed. That was where I laid for twenty minutes before Van Winkle found me.
Winkle placed me back on the ground and felt my forehead. “You’re cold, I’m still surprised that you’re conscious after all that blood you’ve lost,” She whispered, concerned. She took off her coat and wrapped me inside of it. I suddenly noticed that it was snowing. “I’m not going to let him die,” She muttered to herself, picking me back up. The weather was starting to become increasingly worse. Her panting was visible in the frigid air. I reluctantly passed out.
“Do you want to live?” a voice echoed. “Huh?” I responded. “Just answer the question” the voice persisted. “Yes” I answered. “Yes what?” the voice asked. “Yes, I want to live!” I yelled. “Very well then,” the voice agreed. I woke up, sitting up gasping for air. I figured that Winkle was able to carry to safety and we were in some sort of cave. My head was apparently resting on her lap. She was sitting cross-legged in front of a toasty fire. She looked as surprised as I was when I woke up. She embraced me, knocking the wind of me, ”I’m so glad you’re still okay,” “I thought I was going to have to…” she trailed off. “You’re… killing… me…” I managed to utter, feeling crushed under Winkle’s hug-o-death. She let me go, I huffed for at least thirty seconds. “I’ve been meaning to ask you something…” She trailed off again. “Hmm?” I responded, feeling lost. “Do you want to stay with me? The war is over, you are free to do what you want,” Winkle finished. “Of course I want to stay with you, I feel so attracted to you,” I smiled, hugging her even though it was painful. “ I love you too,” She said euphorically. “There’s one more thing,” she beamed,” would you like to be a vampire?” I nodded. “Excellent!” Winkle was delighted,” Let’s begin, shall we.”
It’s quite a unique art, drinking one’s blood to turn them into a vampire. Van Winkle was very gentle with me. I again, passed out; it seems to be my thing I guess.
