I got bored of this little journal thing because it's ******** lame. But it's something to do when you're bored as ******** so whatever. Since my last entry back in July, I've done nothing of major excitement. I went to Soulfest 2011 in August (was it August?) with my homeboy and we had a good time there. Stood about five feet away from Skillet. Almost pissed myself.
Started college in September. Good ******** times. Met some pretty awesome people, some are those judgmental straight edge kids living in my dorm though. But that's expected - can't really party while living in the honors dorms without people thinking bad things. They just don't realize the fun in it. Not to mention, I'm still kicking their asses in the grade book (as far as the classes we have together). So there's that. Been to a bunch of parties, they're all pretty sick. Partied at Sigma Nu, which was my old coach's fraternity when he went to school - next time I go help out at practices, I'm going to tell him. He'll either be proud or he'll pretend to be disappointed.
Thanksgiving was a load of bullshit, so I ended up spending the entire break with my friend and his family. Much better than having it here. Though for Christmas, I didn't feel like intruding again, so I just powered through it here at home. No presents, no surprise. No phone call, no card, but whatever. I made it through. All good in the hood.
Running out of things to talk about. Kind of a boring life actually. Soulfest was probably one of the bigger things if not the biggest thing I've done this year, but that's okay, because Soulfest is a big ******** thing. OH! I got my drumsticks signed by all the members of Red. So that's ******** awesome. I don't want to use them now because I'm scared of them breaking... But yeah. I got a new pair of sticks that say "Stick With Jesus." It's a pun... Alright, peace.
