Hiding Something, then Never Finding it Again.
It's happened so many times that you seriously think you have a high chance of having alzhimers when you're a old bag of skin. You hide something (in my case usually a bag of change, and a secret chocolate stash.) and you think to yourself, "Oh, how clever I am. No one will ever be smart enough to find this hiding spot." Which may be true. However you sooner or later find yourself being the unclever one, because now you can't remember where your hiding spot is. Is it beneath the bed? In my pillow case? In my underwear drawer (I hide most of my precious belongings here.)? You start rummaging through everything, leaving a path of destruction in your path. And about ten minutes of searching, everything suddenly becomes as cliche as a suspense film. You start breathing hard, sweating like crazy, palms shaky, all the while screaming like a manic and convulsing on the bed. And approximately 17 seconds afterward you find what your looking for in your underwear drawer. And you congratulate yourself on being the biggest dumbass alive.
This has happened to me about seven times this week. Only I don't convulse on the bed.
