Forkbeard's Weblog
I am a big fan of great white sharks and I have done many reports on them. I'm 15 years of age and I live in Minnesota with my parents. I am Norwegian and even speak a little bit of it too. So, please continue reading and I hope you take an interest
Clive
Jenny's still on the search for her father. She landed on the planet of Neatu (Nay-toe) XII. Surprisingly, she's run into someone she knew, Clive...
Neatu is a very cold planet so it was covered in ice and snow. The air was still but every once in a while a blizzard would hit. Jenny landed in the only flat land in the area closest to civilization. She could see that it was going to be a long walk. When she finally got to the town she was freezing.
She walked into a bar, knowing that alcohol warms the body, and sat down in a booth across from the bar. Then a waiter came, he was green and had gray eyes, with black patterns around his face, "May I help you?" Jenny had never had an alcoholic drink before so she didn't know what to order, "Um..." Jenny said moving her cold hair out of her face, "Can you just bring me something alcoholic and warm?"
"Right away, Miss." He said with a slight bow and walked away.
Jenny then had a chance to look at her surroundings more carefully. Not everyone looked alike, there were some different aliens from different places, some aliens she recognized from places she's been to. Then she saw someone who looked human, but was facing away from her so she couldn't tell for sure. She didn't want to make contact but she couldn't help but find herself glancing at him every once in a while.
The waiter returned and Jenny snapped back into reality, he handed her the drink which looked like it was sparkling. Not carbonated but like it was glitter. She smiled in thanks at the waiter and he returned to the kitchen. Then Jenny noticed that all of the people who worked in the bar all looked to be the same species, but no one of their species were there as a costumer.
Jenny glanced at the "human" at the bar again, but this time he was looking at her. Jenny looked away quickly and took a drink of whatever was in front of her. It tasted like alcoholic pineapple soda and she cleared her throat from the potency.
Jenny still felt like she was being watched. She couldn't help but look and he was only this time he was facing her completely. Jenny's eyes widened, "Clive?"
"Jenny!" He said standing up and walking over to her booth. "How have you been?"
Jenny laughed surprised that she ran into him, "I'm doing fine. And you?"
He sat down across from her. "Great. Things have changed since you let Messaline." He admitted with a cheerful tone.
"How so?" Jenny asked.
"General Cobb's out of business. There was a trial on his execution but then the Hath stood up for him. Saying the same speech that the D- your father made. 'A man that never would.'"
"He did that?" She said, shocked. "I don't remember that."
Clive's face turned red, "It was right after you.... died." Jenny smiled and nodded.
"What was his speech?" She said taking another sip of her drink.
"After you closed your eyes he set you down and picked up Cobb's gun. The Doctor held it to Cobb's head, then said dropped the gun and said, 'I never would.' then he told us to make the world's society 'a man who never would.'"
Jenny smiled at the story, "That sounds like him..." She chuckled.
"Why did you take off?" He said leaning on the table a little.
"I have to find him again, Clive." She said, blankly. He looked down, "What are you doing here?" Jenny asked, trying to get off topic.
"I ran away, like you. I had to get out of there. It was a lot better but people still argued and there was a whole world I haven't seen, yet."
Jenny nodded, "It is a beautiful place. I'm not going to be staying long, though." She said, quietly. "He always moves, he never stops, he never gives in. I have to find him. I'm only staying for the night."
Clive nodded, "It's good to see you..."
Jenny smiled, "It's good to see you too, Clive. I've been on my own so long, I could use a friend near me." Jenny seemed like she was comfortable with him near, however, she felt a slight edge to him. Almost as if something were wrong or upsetting him.
"Let's get out of here," Clive said, interrupting her thoughts. Jenny nodded, wanting to get out of public eye, just because she's been a lone so long, she doesn't like crowds. "Let's go to my shuttle." Jenny said standing up and leaving a few credits to pay for her drink, "it will be warmer than staying outside. And I apologize ahead of time that it's so far away, there was no place to park."
Clive laughed lightly and nodded.

When they made it to the shuttle, Jenny unlocked the door and got inside, then Clive followed. They sat in silence for only a minute while they got comfortable. They both sat down in the front chairs and Jenny moved the control panel forward so it wasn't in the way, "So, why aren't you on Messaline?" She said, turning to him.
Clive sighed, "'A man that never would' never caught on. The arguments continued about Cobb's trial. Cobb wasn't on our side anymore because the Hath are who stood up for him and he ended up teaming up with their general and fighting against us. So I ran..." He smiled, then he sighed angrily, "Ugh, Jenny I can't do this!"
"What's wrong?" She said, leaning back.
"I have to tell you something, and you're probably going to hate me for it." He closed his eyes. Jenny stiffened and grabbed her gun, grateful that his eyes were closed. Clive continued to speak as she did, "There's a bounty on your head ever since the news was spread that you were alive. But now they want to kill you." He opened his eyes. Jenny turned the safety off on her gun and aimed it at him.
