Physical Features
Shugo is a thin male fox with an average height. His fur is mostly white, except for the edges of his paws, feet, tail, and ears, which are black. His hairstyle is similar to the Terra-Twist hairystyle, and is mostly white with streaks of black on the front. He wears a white and black Japanese-style kimono with black pants underneath. He does not wear any shoes.

Special Physical Features
Heterochromia. His left eye possesses a white iris with a black sclera, his right eye possesses a black iris with a white sclera.
On his forehead, on top of his hair is the Yin/Yang symbol. It glows whenever he uses his special abilities.
Weapons
Shugo carries two special blades in his obi (belt); Hikari (Light) and Yami (Dark). Hikari is a blade forged with a bright, almost white-like steel, while Yami was forged with a dark, sinister-seeming steel.
Shugo also always carries around papers with Japanese writings written on them. These are his Seals of the Youkai that he uses to fend off dangerous spirits and monsters.
Last, Shugo has a small fox companion named "Shuro". He is small, with black and white fur and small wings for flight. He isn't very strong, but his bite can still do some damage if he or Shugo is threatened.

Shugo's main ability is the ability to restore an object, or person to it's original state if it is ever corrupted. The power is "Balance Restoration".
Being of the descendants of the Kitsune, Shugo also has the ability of shape-shifting. This ability comes with many restrictions and limits, but it enables Shugo to transform himself into nearly any sort of living thing.
Shugo's other abilities remain unknown to this point.

Shugo's past remains hidden away from all but himself. The only information about him are rumors spread around by those who have seen him wandering the Kokubyaku Mori [黒白森](Black and White Forest). Some of the rumors claim that Shugo used to be a human, who inherited the spirit of one of the Kitsune that roam the forest. Other rumors claim that he once had a lover, and she was lost to a youkai that Shugo failed to defeat. The only truth that remains is that he now roams the forest with his fox companion, Shuro, and fights to protect others from the vicious youkai that haunt the sacred forest.
