It's been a good five years or so since I had a guy chase after me. Lately, it's been the IT Guy at work.

Everyone seems to want to dive in so that someone can claim the title of "I hooked them up." when really, we're doing fine on our own. I had to keep this a secret that I've been chatting with him all weekend since we added each other on Facebook from one co-worker so that things don't get to awkward.

Work drama. It ruins everything or makes it so awkward, you want to run. This one co-worker I have will definitely make things weird. IT Guy is pretty shy and I don't want him to be scared to see me.

So, back to him. He's been stopping by the salon portion of the store where I work asking if I'm in. Sadly, he missed me two out of three times. The last time, I bit my lip and had a customer in the makeup chair and asked him really quickly to see me later if he wanted to. He ended up going home, so we've been chatting all weekend. By the looks of things, he wants to ask me out on a date in person. (Kudo point!)

Adorkable would be my word for him. He is VERY tall, and makes me look like a little Hobbit. We tend to poke joke at each other a lot. As I said before, he is very shy. And yes, he speaks full proper sentences.

... And he has a Harley.

We'll see how things turn out. And by the way, I won't be saying no.
