ideas of a madman
this jornel will explain some of my ideas, and anything that is in my mind
script, multiverse
person 1: (answers door) ah, (2) glad you could make it

person 2: well, i'm very interested in this invetion you've been telling everyone about.

person 1: then let's not waste any time here it is (pulls down curtain, reavealing some futuristic looking arch-way)

person 2: what is it?

person 1: it's an archway

person 2: well i can see that. i mean where does it lead?

person 1: to a parallel universe

person 2: what?

person 1: you are familiar with the multi-verse theory, correct?

person 2: not exactly, i remember bits and pieces of it, maybe you could refresh my memory.

person 1: right. the multi-verse theory states that there are infinite parallel universes co-existing next to our own. these universes are very

much like our own, but with small differences concerning choice and chance.

person 2: so in other words, if i pulled out a coin, and flipped it, in half of these universes it would be heads, and the other half would be

tails?

person 1: correct, however it's on a much larger scale, containing thousands of chances, and near infinite results.

person 2: ok, i understand now. so this archway leads to one of those universes?

person 1: in theory yes, but i have to turn it on first.

person 2: but are you not worried about the consequences?

person 1: like what?

person 2: let's say, for a moment here, all this is fact. these universes would be similar to, lets say, trees in a forest.

person 1: if those trees didn't have limbs

person 2: right, so a forest of poles. if i took part of one of these poles away, and put it in another, couldn't it become unbalanced, and fall

over?

person 1:hmm(thinking sound)

person 2: and if it did fall, there is a good chance that it will hit another, knocking it over, and this would continue like dominoes

person 1: but, there is a lot of room between the trees, chances are it will miss.

person 2: true, but if matter is added, that universe would overfill, and push the same amount out, into another.

person 1: perhaps, but moving a single person from one universe to another, would be like moving a spec of dust from this room to the next.

person 2: but it wouldn't. moving dust from one room to another takes very little energy. moving a person to an entire new universe takes a lot

more. it would be like moving dust THROUGH a solid wall.

person 1: that would still do almost nothing to the structure.

person 2:perhaps, still you should be careful.

person 1: no need to worry just yet. you were right when you said "moving a person to an entire new universe takes a lot" of energy. it would

take more energy to activate, than the sun could provide in it's entire 'life time'

person 2: well that's a relief. so what now?
