My cat Kazi had kittens on Thursday morning. She had five and more than half of them were having trouble nursing the first few days and I had to feed them by hand kitten formula until they were able to nurse on their own. My family was insisting that I was interfering too much and that the mother could take care of them. Sadly I lost one within twenty-four hours which only emphasized to me how much they needed my help. Yesterday the last kitten started to nurse on his mother with a bit of help and today they're all doing great. With all the effort I put in to feeding them I feel like partly their mom too. And I'm a freak that wants to share pictures of them because of all the hard work I put in and how proud I am that four of the made it. The day I found them their mom had give birth in a very cold area and I think they had been without heat for several hours. Their bodies were cold as ice and they weren't moving or breathing, I thought they were all dead but one. They've come really far from that point and I'm so happy. Here's a Video of them. Click it to watch. Each of the Kittens Litter of 5, Born Thursday March 7th to Kazi Striped Kitten With Less White Patches: We believe it's female. Larger of the two stripped kittens. This one nursed on her own from day one with no help from me. Her cheeks are very chubby. White Kitten: Believed to be Male. Was the largest kitten at birth however was unable to nurse on his own. I fed him kitten formula with a bottle and syringe. He finally started nursing on his own Monday morning and I am so relieved. His mothers milk is so much better for him and he was difficult to feed. Mostly White with Patches of Stripes: This one we believe is a female also. She is the smallest in the litter. I had to feed her by hand the first couple days. By Saturday she was nursing on her mom with a bit of help. Black Kitten: Believed to be male. The fattest and piggiest by far. He's been nursing on his mom from the start without any problem. He spends as much time as he can nursing and he whines nonstop if his mom is close by and he's not eating. He's very pushy and will scratch the other kittens to steal their n**e. Kitten we lost: I believe she was also a female. This one was mostly striped with a white patch on her nose and legs. I'm very sad we lost her. I'm sorry if I didn't do something I should have to have helped her. I buried her today in the back and left a flower for her. Some Couples Pictures Of the kittens Cuddling Kazi cleaning them. Edit/Update: I decided on a name for my shop. Immortal Beasties: Companions for Life! Link me. ^~ [url=http://tinyurl.com/gxjmz][img]http://tinyurl.com/z7ht4[/img][/url] Also I'm trying to think of an idea for a name. ._.; Because I do intend to sell more than just Winged Animals, I'd like to have as many species as possible from myths and legends all kinds of creatures. ^^ I was thinking of something like "Transcendent Immortals" Or "Kindred Spirits" The other cute thing would be "Winged Beasties" But I don't think that will be entirely appropriate once I have all the species I plan on having. ._.; "Immortal Companions" I want something like the word immortal or immortals in it, and companion as well I think... But I was something cutesy as well, like critters, or beasties, but I want it all to flow well together. So, the words I'm thinking of using in the name are forms of the following words: Transcendent, Immortal, Spirit, Kindred, Companion, Critters, Beasties, Winged, Mythical, Mystical, I have a few colored now, to give a better idea of what I want to sell in my pet shop.
