For any of you that have read a previous entry, you know I am a deployed soldier. Alot of people send us care packages filled with tons of different items. They range from personal hygiene products such as: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, tooth brushes, wet wipes, deoderant and cotton balls, to writting pads, pens, books, CDs, movies, and other what nots.
Well, we got an intereting box in today. It comes from the Proud Veterans Motorcycle Club in Parma, MI. ( Let me tell you, veterans send the best stuff ^.^ ) Inside it was something I had to see to believe. I bet you can't guess. wink Hand knitted slippers. That is right, bikers knitted us some slippers. They range in size from Med to XL. I got me a magenta pair that I plan on trying out later on after work. I just thought the idea of bikers knitting anything very ammusing.
To all of the members of the Proud Veterans Motorcycle Club, Thanks! Your support is greatly appricated and the slippers just tickled this lil GI pink.
