It’s hard to contain every emotion that you have, but I have learned to control at least that. I learned long ago that if you don’t look forward to something that will maybe happen, you won’t be hit with the disappointment if that maybe is a not. So you can understand my surprise when the maybe that was Jack Wayland showed up in the doorway of Thayview High. The same maybe that I had accepted as a lost reality had casually strolled back into my life. “Oh my gawd…” I uttered ever so softly under my breath. Cici waved a hand over my face, “What?” Then she peered over to the dark figure making his way down the hall…right down the hall to where we were standing.
