1st thing you would wana do is download and install these 2 files

After installing these run them and let them patch
what these 2 files are they are the source that lets you to play DarkRO wich is needed for every private server out there so you just go and install them and make sure they both install in the same location otherwise it wont work and you may notice they both contain a bunch of funny characters and what not. thats because Ragnarok Online [RO] is a korean game but dont worry the game play it self wont be.
installing the game shouldnt be so hard if you can figure out wich button closes the installation and wich button continues so after installing those 2 things you pretty much have installed the source so now what you wana do is run them both and let them patch
after there done patching your set to go and download a Private server and wat that is its pretty much a remake of the main korean version of the game with translations and different gameplay and all the custom made goodness and its also the easiest part of the installation there are over hundreds of them made out there each with there own rules and such but i recommend playing the one i play most wich is in this link http://dark-ro.net/ i cant rly much describe as to how the gameplay is rather then just telling you to go to youtube and search DarkRO
