Swine Flu
Okay I want to talk about the Swine Flu. I think it's stupid to be closing all these schools and school districts over this. It's not ANY different from the regular flu, people are just freaking out cuz there is no vaccine for it. Also, It turns out Swine Flu isn't from pigs, It just so happens pigs and humans can get the same virus, but we cannot catch it from them and they can not catch it from us. Another thing, only like 10 people have died from it in the ENTIRE world, and THOUSANDS of people die from the regular flu each year, but we don't have a panic attack. Besides that, no American citizen has died of it yet, the boy who died in Houston was visiting from Mexico. So as you can see, there really is nothing to fret about, but I'm not going to complain, I won't have school for a whole week! I won't even have to make up the days, haha my district are a bunch of losers. The real reason everyone is freaking out is they are afraid it will mutate or something, but they're still taking it too far.
