I prayed and prayed, And guess who came?
A dark cloaked man, In Death's name.
I told him simply, "This is how it must be,"
And unto him, I paid a fee.
I led him to Her darkened room
And motioned to him to seal her doom.
I watched him close, my mouth agape
As he took a blade to cleave her nape.
I told him to stop, so I'd do it instead,
He grinned and told me "Stain these sheets red."
I took its hilt and raised it high,
And brought it down and watched her die.
He looked at me and chuckled soft
As I held her head aloft.
He placed his hand on my shoulder thus,
And told me "Son, become one of us."
I turned around, surprised to see
Other soulless folks like me.
The leader smiled, said I did good,
And added "Come, join our Dark Brotherhood."
I am now a part of their family tree,
Murdering unfortunates for a fee.
I left my house to go underground,
After making sure her body would ne'er be found.
Since then I have never felt at ease,
For I hear her spirit in the breeze
Asking me, "Why, oh why?"
I look to the ground and start to cry
Because my hands are red with guilt
And I had killed the life we built.
I watch the others with vicarious grins,
Knowing we'll all be punished for our great sins.
I cannot sleep, for I see her.
God damn that little ******** cur.
A spider crawls along my face
Before returning to it's resting place
Along a web like the one I weave
Of deceit and mystery.
I miss her so, I want her back,
I gasp and sob and mentally crack.
For too long has love foiled me,
I'll never find another one like she.
This is a fact that I know well,
Until I meet her upon my decent to Hell
Two different circles for eternity,
Two different circles for her and me.
I'll wait forever in circle Seven,
Praying softly for her ascent to Heaven.
Il nomine Patris.
