Powers
-Shadow forming: She is able to telekinetically control shadows giving them form and substance but they must already exist for her to be able to use them. Ex 20 (1d20)

-Shadow Jumping: She travels through what she refers to as "The Shadow Void" accessed by her slipping into any shadow it is similar to Nightcrawler's teleporting however, the Void is actually the mirrored opposite of the world. She is able to find her way by sensing "Shadow Signatures" The specific void of space each object or being leaves when traveling under the light of the Sun.

-Shadow Talking: Finally, if she is possessing the shadow of a being she is able to communicate with them telepathically this is limited to speech only though. Also if another possesses the power to move through shadows she is able to communicate with them as well.

Other:
-Immunity to Poisons and chemicals: After spending years working with and breathing in the toxic substances that became her trademark Spade is completely immune to their effects it has also carried over into the compounds that make up any sort of drug. It is unknown if it carries over into diseases due to the nano-tech that runs in her veins.

-Increased Healing factor: Nanotechnology runs through her veins allowing her to heal quicker than a normal human (Similar to Wolverine but the nanites only heal life threatening and major injuries. cuts and such are left to heal on their own unless they threaten to cause too much blood loss. She also experiences the pain of having them healed.)

-Increased vision: Due to both her mutant ability and the nano-tech running through her blood her vision is sharper than a humans. It is nowhere near super human but is still extremely sharp and could be compared to a predatory bird's. Rm 30 (3d10)

-An adamantium mask given to her by Apocalypse that is technologically grafted to her face, it not only shields her mind and presence from telepaths and psychic attacksRm 30 (3d10) but from physical attacks(Ty 6 (1d6)) to the face as well.

History

Xi was first born somewhere in China about three thousand years ago when Apocalypse first rose to power. She was taken by the Emperor's special guard at birth. She was placed into a training temple where she showed an aptitude for killing, making her first at age 7 when she killed a man who was running an illegal gambling racket. It was determined that she would become the Emperor's hidden weapon. She studied under several masters in forms of martial arts that are no longer thought to exist. One monk named Shin took a particular liking to her. When Apocalypse first used the machine in ancient Egypt Shin was one of those affected. He would become the first horseman Death. When Shin returned to the temple bent on destroying the mystical monks who would oppose Apocalypse she was the only one who did not fear him. Instead of killing the girl he made his companion as he wreaked havoc upon Qin dynasty China.

She soon fell in love with Death but his reign of terror was coming to an end. A group of powerful monks had assisted the Egyptians in sealing Apocalypse away in the Himalyans and now they came after the Horsemen. Xi was cut down while taking a blow meant for Death. As he held her dying body he transferred his power to her and merged their souls. He then took them both out of the mortal realm to await rebirth.

Born once again in China this time in a Hong Kong slum she caught the eye of an Assassin guild member. Placed into a training camp deep in rural China she once again showed that aptitude for killing. Placed into the hands of "Grandmother" she underwent severely harsh training methods similar to Lady Shiva and Cassandra Cain's early years, in fact she was the test subject for experimental nano technology as a means to create "super soldiers" however, she was the only one who survived the procedure. She quickly earned the rank of Lady in the guild and developed a sick enjoyment of the art of violence and torture as well as a slightly volatile mental state. She often was instructed to use sexuality to lure her targets and as such is a skilled courtesan with mastery in sexual, intellectual and artistic fields, which also makes her a shameless flirt who enjoys the discomfort of others when referring to such pursuits.

On assignment in the Congo she was contracted to kill a Congolese poison master and PHd Chemist who had gone rogue from the guild. Posing as a would be assistant she learned all of his secrets before finally dispatching him. As a sick tribute she coats all of her blades in the poisons she learned from the man she killed. When Apocalypse started to awaken in the world once more her merged soul was called to the tomb. Her merged soul agreed to work once more for the tyrannical being and became his shadowed left hand as he began once more taking over the world. She was often called upon to assassinate high ranking Homo Sapiens and Homo Superior who openly opposed the Utopia that Apocalypse created after he had gained power. She also served as a hidden bodyguard when Apocalypse went among his people, dealing with threats before they could become a problem. However, she is not a devoted follower of Apocalypse and is far more pragmatic about the world. If someone can offer her a better deal she'll take it.
