On Saturday me and my 2 buddies went to Fan Expo in Toronto, Ontario.
It was a convention with a mix of sci-fi, horror, comics and yes, anime.
When I got there, I immediately headed for the autograph line, hoping to get Brina Palenica, Aaron Dismuke, Colleeen Clinkenbeard and Monica Rail's autograph's.
(Aaron was the early one, and then the three girls came in one group which saved me lot's of time)
All of them were really nice. Aaron was funny. When I went up to him, he didn't even remember doing a voice in One Piece. But I reminded him. He chuckled and shook my hand. Pretty nice for a 16 year old. Brina sounded exactly like Chopper when I talked with her. I mixed up Monica and Colleen and was rather embarrassed, but they said that was alright.

I have 7 signatures in total right now.
Brina's is by Chopper, Aaron's is on the left side of Zoro, the director/Buggy's is on Zoro's shoulder, Sonny Strait is by Ussop, Monica is on Merry's head, Colleen is by Luffy and Vic M is on the bottom right hand side.
(I'm hoping to get Nami, Sanji and Vivi's voice by the end of next summer.)
I didn't get much merchandise-wise, but I prefer quality over quantity in this case.
I wandered after the autograph's browsing the stalls, when I came across a Strawhat messenger bag for 30$
I was hoping to find some P.O.P figurines, but no one had any. However, I did find another little treasure trove.
Hand painted imports, 10$ each. But I got it for only 35$ since the guy and I share a common liking. I was seriously tempted to get the Thousand Sunny ship, but I couldn't fit it anywhere. I seriously regret not getting it.
Thinking I needed more, I headed back to the same stall an hour later, only to discover they put out new gashapons. I mangaed to get Kizaru and Captain Kidd for 10$.
I couldn't find a Trafalger Law, which also came in the set, but I didn't grab the last two which were Sanji and Nami. I regret not getting these as well.
Anywho, last, but not least was the book.
I found this baby while browsing for a copy of Color Walk. I managed to snag it for 30$ instead of 45$ but I can't read what the cover says. All I know I know is that it is imported as well and the pictures looked neat. They were random clips of various posters available. It came with a CD, which I'm guessing to have songs on it.
I only managed to find TWO OP cosplayers and one was only worth mentioning, which was Luffy.
After getting lost about a billion times and my friend's cellphone dying out, we managed to get home. She fell asleep on the train while me and my other friend shared our purchases. He got a poster of Master Chief signed for his little brother (since the VA was there), a few X Men comics since the head honcho of Marvel was there as well. He picked up about 5 other graphic novels too.
My other friend got some lacy socks, a little lolita-ish hat, some manga, and some pocky.
When I got to AN this year, I'll hopefully find what I'm looking for...
