Wow! It has been such a long time since I have written in this thing! I intended to update it months ago but never really took the time to just sit and write.
The twins are doing very well these days! They are 18-months now and are walking, talking, and more curious than ever! Adam and Lauren are both in good health and have done so very well since they were such tiny babies! They are still little, at only about 20 lbs each, but it is good not to have to pick up so much weight! Adam is sweet and he loves to give hugs. He also like to wrestle around with his dad and older brother. Lauren is silly and so full of expressions! She's a bit of a priss, though, and is prone to throwing fits when she doesn't get her way. Both know me very well, for I have been with them quite often since they were born and went home! They are both quite attached to me but it seems that Lauren and I have a special bond. Lauren tends to prefer me over anyone else; even her own mother! She got hurt the other day and her lower lip turned out in a great, big pout and she turned around, past her mommy, saw my mom and turned past her, straight to me! So I picked the poor thing up and calmed her down, poor, sweet dear! Her hair is finally growing out longer! And Adam has a nice head of hair, too. They both have matching blonde hair, like their older brother's, but only Adam seems to share the same color brown eyes as Thomas. Lauren has a sort of hazel-brown color. They change from one color, a sort of gray-brown, on the outside, to the same color brown as her brothers' on the inside. Very pretty.
My other sister had a little girl last November, so she is now 9-months-old. Her name is Calliope, and while we didn't like the name at first, we have grown used to it, and it is what it is. I love Calliope and have enjoyed seeing her on a few visits. Mom and I went on a trip back in May to see Holly and help out with Calliope. Those were some fun days, spending time with "Calli!" But we generally just call her Calliope, not matter how weird it is for her to have a Greek name. It is her name and I have come to like it well enough and she is just Calliope now.
My fiancée's sister, too, had a baby. He was born back in October. So many babies! His name is Jacob and he is a sweety, too! I have only been able to see him a couple times, because they all live in Florida, but I was still happy when I got to see him, and I took some time to play with him! He seemed to like me well enough and gave me big smiles and came to me when I held out my arms to him. ^_^ 4laugh
With so many babies in the family, life is never boring for me! heart I go over to my sister Shannon's house a lot to help out with all her kids. I have even had a chance to watch the twins for a few hours, all by myself! Putting them down for a nap and everything. They can be quite a handful, sometimes, but they are a lot easier now than they were when they were little babies! They needed so much attention, of course, and with twins one is hard put to give all the attention that a baby needs! That's why my sister has us! Myself, my parents, and her husband's family, and some good friends, too. I love helping out with my sister and I know that this will enable me to be well-prepared for when I have a baby! But that won't be for another 4 or 5 years. I love babies, but I shall be content to wait, for now.
Next summer, June 21, 2009, I plan on finally having my wedding! My fiancée, Jonathon, and I have decided that we are ready to make that final decision. We are ready to be moved out of our parents' houses and to make a home of our own. We are now starting to plan. We have decided on our honeymoon, and so we just need to find a suitable church to get married at, a photographer, and a nice place to have a reception. I have started dress shopping. I have already picked out a lovely pair of shoes! Style Rebecca - how could I resist when it has my name? lol My bridesmaids will wear pink, and I shall have white {or pheraps some form of off-white}, my husband-to-be shall wear a nice tux, and the groomsmen may or may not wear pink, or they might wear some form of blue. My favorite color {obviously} is pink, and Jonathon's is blue. When we have more figured out, I shall post it! That is all I have to say for now, as much as it is! I shall try to write again soon. 3nodding
