Singing to the rain
It's drops a tin on my eyes
The hieghts of the world stun
The meaning of truth lies
Listless death
A simple ache
Turned into mortal grief
Upon an altar bathed in blood
A silent dream is sacrificed
And life ends then
Higher they sing
Wings of time
Minutes of tears
A list forms to destroy a solace
A solace never ha...d
Never gained
Never known
Singing a tune
A maestro dead at the final stroke
And a hand lost to pain
Sleep never again
For a world turns anyway
Left only to belittle truth
Give only loss
For a heart was forever gone.
It is forever lost.
