So, when I got to school today, it was revealed that sometime over Thanksgiving weekend, my friends conspired to make cupcakes for my birthday. Terribly sweet of them. They've no reason to, yet they do so anyway. It's a wonder. It's also been confirmed that I've no idea as to how to reply to someone in a relatively normal manner. What, exactly, does one say in response to well-wishing? Do they have classes for this? "How to Converse With Levity and Tact" or somesuch thing?
On a more pleasant note, Becky gave me a copy of GEB! Which is apparently a "really good book" x5 with excellent dialogue, and a wonderful tendency towards self-reference.
And... once again, a cafeteria worker has given me rather warm fuzzies. Maybe it's their nature?...
Fencing has begun. Therefore, the season of sun-less days has come, as the mornings and nights are equally dark. It's rather fun, I suppose, though I've neither the agility, cleverness of wit, nor the aggressiveness to be a proper fencer. I wonder, how long will they allow me to stay, in my unproductive usage of space?
