I have blonde hair , and eyes that change from different shades of colors .
I am `5 "1 , and considibly short compared to my other nakama in my squad .
My Captain kinda creeps me out , and my Vice-Captain has too many tatoos to count.
Then there is me .
Third Seat Saara Yominato of the the 6th squad .
Today was my first day , and I didn't feel that warm , welcome feeling that I thought I was to recieve.
The first comment I heard from from my Vice Captain.
"You sure are short..."
My forhead twitched.
"Not my fault..."
My captain just stared off into space with this murderious look . It scared me kinda .
'Jeezus , Captain Byakuya looks like he wants to kill me , or Vice-Captain Renji , one of us .... I'm alittle scared now , ehhe..'
When I was introduced , everyone stared whispering .
'Gawd , it's like they've never seen a girl my age get this high . I mean , come on !! Captain Hitsugya is half my size ! Not my fault that I look 13 , er , even 12 . BUT , I like to use 13 , it makes me feel like a teenager again , but then again , I am over 50 years of age...scary...'
We had some kind of banquet , I guess you could call it , in honer of the new third seat taker .
It was really akward . I mean , my end of the table was so , unbearablely quiet. I decided to break that silence.
"Sooo...anything new happen."
'Damn it Saara , what a stupid.stupid.stupid!..'
"No, nothing that anyone needs to worry about."
It was Captain Byakuya that spoke.
"Mmm." I nodded, and continued to eat my ramen noodles. Silence came again , and a stared to turn red , I could feel it . I didn't know why that people over at the other end of the table was so , so , happy , and outgoing , then Captain's end of the table was so unbearably quiet.
I hadn't noticed but I was about to break my chopsticks, and everyone was staring at me.
"Are you ok?" Vice-Captain Renji asked me.
"Oh , uh , yep , fine ." I said , and ate some more. I couldn't take it anymore, it was just sooo quiet. "It's just , I'm not use to it being this..quiet..."
"Well then , what should we talk about , I mean , it's not everyday we get someone like..uh..never mind.."
"Like what?" I purred.
"So short and odd like you , god it looked like you were going to break your chopsticks for some unknown reason."
"So what if I'm short, but I am definatly not as odd as you!" I snapped.
"Ya, and how that?!" We were now yelling at eachother.
"I don't plaster ***king tatoos all over my body!"
"Oh ya , so what ! Atleast I'm mature enough to take risks like that!" He yelled in my face that time.
"Hey , I'm mature too , even more mature that you ! I can keep my comments to myself and.."
"Enough ."
Vice-Captain Renji and I both looked at Captain Byakuya.
"Sorry.." I mumbled, and sat down my bowl.
So ya , such a nice start to my job as a shinigami.
Maybe tomorrow will be better, time to get some sleep now.
