As I lay here beside you, I feel the warmth of your skin against mine
Your scent lingers around intoxicating me...
I look up and see your gentle sleeping face
My heart jumps from gazing at every feature on your body...
I gently brush away a single strand of hair from your face...
You stir and I smile
Thoughts run through my head in a single instant...
I get up out of bed and look out the window to see the night so bright...
I look back at you on the bed sleeping peacefully...
My mind clears and all I can think of is you..
The moonlight through the window illuminates you like an angel in disguise...
Yet again I smile wishing this night would never end...
Hoping our love would never vanish...
