Background: Nekomata was a demon of Ancient Japan, known as the ghost cat who was able to appear in disguise, or the cat who gained supernatural abilities. After deceiving his past masters and consuming their souls, Kaseki moved on, taking form of a teenage human boy, bored of his past acts. He lived along side the humans, trying to fit in and live more under the radar. As time went on, people began to notice that he did not age, so they chased him into the mountains. There, he entered an extensive slumber. Centuries passed before he awoke and society had forgotten about the cursed demon cat. When he did wake, he found himself in the 21st century. Confused and culture shocked at first, he took the form of a black cat and studied the new society closely. After another year passed, he was back in his human form, living along side humans once more.
Personality: Kaseki plays the mysterious guy card, typically keeping to himself in more populated areas. When confronted, he is charming and cool with a hint of seductiveness. He enjoys 'harassing' others (cute girls especially) and wreaks havoc on their comfort zones.
Other: Kaseki almost always walks around as a normal human, but can transform into a black cat or into a neko human with cat ears and either a single or twin tail. His limited powers revolve around a spirit based energy. His actions and abilities are almost a direct reflection of a cats. He loves fish and naps, he is skilled at climbing, he is nimble and agile, and sometimes gets distracted by birds, mice, and string. On a more human note, he is a talented all around artist, having learned how to play instruments, draw and paint, and write over his extensive lifetime. Aside from his artistic talent, he knows some martial arts and his knowledge is extensive.
