What usually goes on in my life.
There is, however, another view in the Columbian arguments. Many people thought that Christopher Columbus was not, contrary to what textbooks say (even though we ALL know that textbooks are from God, and therefore the truth), a hero, instead implying that Christopher was a savage. People cry that he was a tyrannical, heartless being, who saw the native people already living in the Americas as nothing but animals (the animals cry out that humans as a whole have been treating them much more cruelly than Christopher ever did the Natives, but they were ignored, as usual). They say that Christopher opened the door to tyranny and death, bringing such diseases as the plutonic plague, small pox, and the William Shakespeare syndrome (a non-deadly but very annoying disease that forces people to always speak in imagery, drawing the ire of all). That Columbus enslaved, tortured, and forced many Natives into labour, that he performed extreme racism, took away rights, and many other cruel and heartless acts, and that celebrating his arrival in America is “like celebrating the holocaust.”(News broadcast in 1992).
